I have a set of old set of 5 1/4 mb quarts and would like to use the tweeter and crossover with mli65 but will the crossover be too high for the mli6.6? (will the crossover take too much mid/bass out?) what do you guys think?

do you guys fiberglass the ports or just use sawdust & glue? (on the kerf part)

I have had that drill &impact for all most a year and love them as well I installed cabinets for a living and use them all day when you make your ports do you use brads to do the corners?

I think that winisd doesnt take the port volume out of the sub box.....but i mighyt be wrong ( your box could end up way short of volume)

m5a are you guys going to start selling any tweeters&crossovers Is that true that there is going to be a m5a car amp series? so i hear that the M Series is no more so do you have a new series around the same dollar or is that a thing of the past? any news on the new subs? in the past m5a had a plate amp do you guys still sell them and if so whats the cost?

so with bracing and no sub my volume of the box is16517.187inches cubed what do you think i should tune it to? i was told to tune it to 43 hz for most spl but i think 30 hz would sound better what size of port should i use? the box is like t shape and theinside is 38" wide any help would be great

2001 exploder suv box size about 9.36 with out any bracing or port or sub i was told to use 1 box with both drivers but i think 1 box with 2 separate areas would be better

im working on a box for two mj18s and have a few questions what size of port do i need for a box 4.5cf tune to 30hz? would there be a big dif if the box was 4 cf instead of 4.5? ( my box is 9.36cf) any building ideals or stats or thoughts would be great thanks roddy

you can use paperback veneer with contact cement just dont rush other wise you need to use a vacuum press (these many kinds from bags to table tops)

ok i might sound like a noob but here it gos if the box for the spl sub is 3.5 and if you could get 2 maw 12s or 1 maw 15 or mj 18 in all most the same size of box wouldnt it be louder then 1 spl 12? ??? dont understand?

my thought is if you dont have good power to run your speakers it wont sound good anyway a lot of ppl dont know what good sound is.... most of the time the question is so dude what did you do in the db drag? Im mr cheap. most of the time I buy my items used unless i can get some killer deals (like mach5) hey i like good sound as well dont get me wrong i have some mb quarts and think they sound great

im guess it will be about 4 Ohm and i have about 250 can to spend on a amp im going to wait untill i find a used amp( i think that will be my best bet) I think the speakers are the cheaper part of the system

I hate buying amps they cost so much just call me mr cheapo so if i was to buy a amp for mj18/15 what would you guys buy? (for car) what should i buy what could i get by with? would a old Pioneer GM-H100 work? (320 max) any thoughts would be great

Nice review how many mli65 s do you have in your car ? I think on friday(payday) im going to order 4 of them to put in my exploder pimpedout97x do you have any picks of your exploder? any advice on installing subs/mids? what way to face them ect?
