Thanks for all the info....I was also wondering what the BP option is and what does it do. Is 1000 RMS enough without the BP option. Is 1200 watts RMS enough with the BP option. I've never heard these subs so I'm basing my decision and info on a little research, I'm definitely no expert.

Thanks for the info....I was unsure about the Ohm load. Also what is the best enclosure for the Q. I'm looking for deep base..... but MAINLY I want SQ and good response. Being that I'm getting two of them and they're going in a Tahoe, i assumed that combo would create good SPL's in a sealed box. If ported is better let me know.

In my search for some subs I've been pointed to this forum. I'm looking to replace a set of 12'' Type-R's. The Type-R's were a decent SPL sub but I'm looking more for SQ. I'm hoping to achieve the SQ and SPL same as, or close to a W7. I listen to 50/50 rap/rock. As of now my plan is...... 2 12" Q Series 2ohm Box & Amp: 2 Alpine MRD-M1005's (each 1000x1 at 2ohm) Sealed rectangular Box 1.3 cuft per sub 1999 4 door Tahoe. behind the second row, subs facing downwards Also... I have no idea what the BP does. Whats recommended RMS with that option. Thanks for the help Alex
