I never mess around with sealed boxes... Will a single chamber sealed box get louder then a dual chamber?

If they're the same driver, the only way one has more excursion than the other is if one is broken... No it's not broken. It's just SUPER weak. Trust me. Steve said the same thing but when I showed him he seemed surprised on how weak the sub really was. Therefore that woofer gets moving more then the newer woofer. Same driver... Q18 with BP

Should I do sealed in a single chamber or dual chamber? One woofer is older then the other so one woofer has more excursion then the other.

Ok, so I got him to do sealed. He says "if I dont like how sealed sounds then we have to cut out a port". So sealed it is. I have never heard 18"s in a trunk before. It should get loud.

Just a call from Scott last Wednesday witch told me my recone will be here Monday (today). As you can see my thread isn’t getting much attention from the guys at Fi either. My girl called him today and he said I should get it today. She asked for a tracking number or any info. He doesn’t know if it was sent UPS, FED EX, or regular mail. He didn’t seem to know anything about its status except that it was exposed to be here today witch it wasn’t... So who knows what’s going on over there. I never got any confirmation email or anything so all I have to go off of is that it was supposed to be here today.

I have a question. So my woofer blew after about 10 mins of playing it at low volumes. I have owned many woofers and never blown a single one. From Audiobahn Eternals, 9500s to RE XXX. I have always had my gain set with a DMM and never used my Bass Boost after seeing an article on how bad it was on SMD.com. So it was very weird that it blew. So yesterday my mom started complaining for me to move the woofer (it was in the living room). I went and picked it up and heard a very faint rattle from inside the woofer. So I took it apart to see what it was and to get it ready for the recone. After taking out the cone, spider, and voice coil I found a little hard black mettle piece in the poll vent. I gave the woofer a shake with the piece in it and I heard the same rattling noise. The piece is very small
