  1. im going to go with wiring, im going to take a guess that you wired the coils wrong... take a pic of how the wires are ran to the coils... pull the sub dont guess....
  2. great ,.. welcome, of course this will be an on going thread not every one is on now. but thank you for coming to answer our questions.
  3. yeah space is at a premium in my build... and even if it was not a new NS-1 sells for like 1700 and the ohm load would need to be changed, .... i know for a fact the Ab will put out 14K at .25 if i can get the electrical stout.... i cant say that for the strapped ns-1s and i have watched friends have issues with burping strapped... just too much bullshit..
  4. there is no way in hell you can get two NS-1s for 1500 bucks.. thats one... and even if i bought another NS-1 it would be more then 1500 in its self... not to mention now i have to figure out where to put TWO huge amps... and i still would not have as much power as 1 of the ABs either way its done.. i just need to sell my NS-1 so i can recoop the money that was spent getting the 1100
  5. he just became a member .. thats a great sign
  6. my point was he said he would have no problems explaining why its not up for debate.. .. so i told him then come to SSA and do so...... i doubt he will show.
  7. i made a comment on a post on facebook, and tony d'amore said he would be happy to come to SSA and talk about the amp dyno , he actually told me there would be no debate because its science , so here is the topic. where he and we may discuss .. i mean .. talk about science
  8. i can see you did not read a hand full of statements in my topic ...
  9. done deal.. its mine.. i just need to sell my NS-1 now
  10. still deciding ... wanna buy another ns-1 ?
  11. my sexy NS-1 is now for sale. i have the box, the manual all the paper work. the knob .. all that jazz.. its still in my car, it has some small scratches on it im asking 1300 plus actual shipping, guys i will get pics up today, im just heading out the door, i need to see if i get any hits on it to day.. i have another amp in my sites.
  12. oh my bad i forget .. people hate the fucking truth
  13. ask Q anything about his line of subwoofers... i bet you anything he can tell you the facts... he can model the sub in any situation and tell you how it should react on paper, ... because he did his foot work to make a GOOD PRODUCT.... and some people.. dont even try
  14. not shady but, some people do enjoy them.. every one i know tried them and quickly moved on... hints why i never pulled that trigger i had my chance, but ill tell you this.. i had one question... how will it perform in a small encloser on low tuning.... and i was told in person " we dont know we have never tried it, it may play great it may not" lol shows me that they never even cared to model the subs .. or send them off to be correctly put thru the ropes ..... another air pump company.
  15. ok i have the sundown NS-1 .... i have wanted a bigger amp... and well a friend is selling an AB 1100.1 12v black PCB amp.... for 1500 ... thats a steal, and i think im going to puss the trigger, of course ill need alot more sub to put it on.. but that can come later... so .. quick.. yes or no.. and any reasons you have NOT TO ... thanks;/
  16. reasonable compared to what?
  17. shopping for subs by the look is the silliest thing i see people do... you can not say a sub is the same as another because the back plate or the basket looks the same. i had no clue they had components .. i have only seen there subs... they are very proud of them.... as you can see by the price, they do ok ... i have seen plenty of them fail... i have also seen some winners....
  18. so... your going to be installing other peoples stereos now?
  19. you will need batteriES! your car is about to get very heavy .
  20. well said, dip shit... i can see that someone has 0 clue about how city ordinances get put into place, or better yet out laws.... police departments do not just sit around making up laws and ordinances, its purposed to a council of THE PEOPLES ELECTED OFFICIALS the people being your local voters.... they voted for the member that best suited there ideals and interest... did you vote? no you didn't, so if you want to chance/prevent things in your community get out and vote... not cry on the internet and BTW more times the not.. its never the loud cars you see making the bad name for audio... its the asshole with a couple shit box 12s that pulls up EVERY WHERE HE GOES with it full blast while he runs into the store, or come into the apt complex or riding around in the walmart parking lot..normally those types of people are to blame for having such stringent ordinances rant on 10 year old topic complete
