Bought the Garmin nüvi 2555LMT; only cost 40 bucks out of pocket after all the gift cards. Seems to have everything but voice activation and Bluetooth, neither of which I care for. me either, i had a tom tom with both.. not only did i hate those fuctions but the TOMOm is a shit design to me.. it wont allow you to reset your trip, or view max speed or tons of other things garmin is for me. a co worker of mine bought a cobra gps for 18 wheelers.. the fucking thing is HUGE i think its 8 inch display.. and it sucks.. shows you every restraunt and fuel stop on every block but its hard to set, and even harder to follow., with no trip settings or anything like that.

stinger.. i black out the word "stinger" and it helps ALOT with the brightness. i have see some round pod style voltmeters that are digital too.. on ebay.

so i got a call while i was at the doctors office, i had a backhoe, hanging off a trailer, i show up start to work the job and my boss shows up with other ideas, i tell him i got it i got it.. but with all the white people around he wanted to feel like a boss, so i let him call the shots. while i worked the lines, we get to a point where he states "thats it he can back off now him self" i tell him no.. and we should do this and that.. but he insists ... so i instruct the driver to come forward so that i can remove a wheel chock i had behind the back hoe.. but he yells no!! he needs to come back.. so the driver comes back.. and the back hoe flips up and to the side and rolls over.. with my boss in the fall path i yell mike move mike move mike move! hes frozen .. so i reach out and wrap him up and chunk my boss side ways 5 feet or so just as the bucket of the loader grazes my hand.... my heart was pumping and i didn't believe what just happened.. it was so fast and i just picked up my boss 280 or so 5 foot even and tossed him... i quickly yelled to driver are you ok! as he was climbing out the top.. then yelled to my boss im sorry i threw you im sorry but .. and he quickly said its ok its ok its ok . good lord job comes with close calls,. its the nature, but im used to fending for my self, not others. im just glad i was there, he would have took a 3 yard steel bucket to the face surely fucking him off.

The new enclosure can take up the same space if not more (likely larger if your looking for more output and using a larger driver) then your current enclosure? At this point people are going to need to know your max dimensions before they can really offer advice. I'm still baffled by your completely contradictory statements. Perhaps it's something you should sleep on? So going with a larger driver would definitely take up more the the SA12s? The SA12 box took up basically all the space in the back, meaning a larger driver wouldnt fit. How about one Z12? Enclosure volume is dependent on the driver and goals. More volume will increase the overall efficiency in terms of output, so larger box usually equates to more output. Contrary to popular belief: I cannot read minds or look deep into one's soul. Therefore I have no idea how large your current enclosure is, and if you can or cannot fit a larger driver with appropriate volume. One Z12 would be a downstep in output, you stated you wanted more output. At this point I don't think you really know what you want, so I'm going to go away now.

your going to run into an issue of air space with a larger woofer like an 18 defeating the purpose of you going with a single sub. will be interesting to see the end results for sure.
