umm the one i have states 100 watts.. but i doubt its that big.. it currently runs 1 8 inch driver.... i may want to power 2 8's not really sure.... price is key honestly.

Looks good Jon, I also took my carpet out and bought some Vinyl mat. Its nice and fat and fairly heavy cost was around 9bucks a meter. works good for under the box or just tracing out the carpet that was in there. you know i thought about that too.. i was thinking if i were able to just make sheets to take out alot of the small contorts and ripples and shit of the truck perhaps it would help with the scoring. i also have something i tried in the black town car that i think would really help gain in this car... but not sure.. wood floors are hard to install along with carpet.

so indeed plan to keep the carpet out.. if anything just for looks i will spray rubberized bed liner, just so that it looks all the same and decent.. but i am afraid that will cost me tenths,. its decent space.. but not a huge workable area... no doubt bigger then your trunk, but you can get louder with less i would imagen my chicks acccord 2 door does 140s on a single SSA icon 15 on 400 watts.

sounds to me like the CV axle just poped out.. i have seen this happen a million times on hondas. jack it up, take the wheel off ,lose the big nut in the middle line it back into the transmission.. then bang the shit out of the big stud in the middle of the nut with a sledge hammer. wait.. if you dont know much about cars then maybe you shouldnt. but on the upside i dont think your out a tranny or anything.. so wont be that bad to fix.

i finished up today.. like a kid. i grabbed my termlab and my laptop. and rushed to my spot to meter.... i got 2 burps in and my battery went dead on my lap top so i hope that the scores may go up a few tenths more.. but here are some pics. so part 2 of the simi rebuild. i also second skinned some other places in the trunk.. i wanted to get the spots i cant get to with ease, build a little amp rack to get my 100.4 off the sub box, did some void filling too with some foam.. i did not get a pic . so in short... replaced my jumpers with bussbars, took my carpet out. second skinned some of the trunk, filled some voids, and moved some stuff around, and i gain .6 at this point.. but like i said my lap top went dead.. i hope that i can play with some stuff and gain a little more.

love my sundowns.. always have.. thats why i all ways buy more.. best amps i have ever owned.. along with JL / series. i love them a lot too.

that box looks like a LED with some scoshe wire.. i cant belive that LED stays on all the time to " show that its installed correctly" some times i wish i didnt care about my name.. cause it would be nice to make money off of a project box full of crap .. i hope you get this issue worked out.

IF you know what your doing... yes. if you do not.. then no. someone that know what they are doing can send that sub up to around 3k.... but if you dont know what your doing you can blow the sub with as little as a 100 watts,

i have never used SDS ... but my homeboy Steve mead swears by it. i like my second skin, it works great, its easy to apply and it has not fallen or pealed, and i have also gained DB's from just doing my trunk lid alone, with damp pro, i also used damp pro in my doors, along with luxury liner pro, that helped me gain more mid bass, and also stop road noise, the guys at second skin are easy to deal with now that they are under new ownership, and i have a local friend that has had amazing results with stopping his resonant sound from his Honda's loud muffler
