Yeah I guess he deleted it to cover up for him deleting posts, horrible business practices on his end. I am confused by this as I can see if anything was ever deleted. i have seen people fight with belts before.. alot of times people try to put the belt on to a grooved pully.. its much easier t slid the belt onto one of the smooth pulleys like the idler does this convey well?

Deadener won't help with that, you need an acoustic barrier. Lead sheeting or Mass Loaded Vinyl is your friend.
