Voltage meter?
jonbearsmt replied to [email protected]'s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical5??? and they are not working???? WHY??? i think it may not be the meter.... it maybe the installer.... i have never had a problem with one.. and i have used them for years on all my installs.

Voltage meter?
jonbearsmt replied to [email protected]'s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electricalrecycle time.. or would it be cycle time, either way that is why i prefer a stinger, the kind you are asking about lag, and is not precise,

going active again!!! new questions
PDR or no PDR what is the difference? .. i have read up and looked around quite a bit on these i think im gonna love them, but it seems as tho they will take aroud of playing around with to get them on axis just right, i have a few ideas on sticky tape or Velcro untill i get them set right, some people are saying that the PDR sounds a little strange when close up.. and its better in an open room.. others are saying with PDR is the only way to go.... also i found a few good deals on these on home audio fourms i am not apart of... and i hate to start a user name on a site just to see if they ever sold the,.... so could a few of you guys check out any other sites you maybe on and see if anyone has some for a good price... thanks guys for everything

going active again!!! new questions
im about to pull the trigger on these BG's... but im looking at the flush mount cups, inorder to mount them in my A pillers... but people in the reviews are saying, thats its not worth it.. that they are not a flush mount., but a suface mount... has anyone used these? will i need the flush mount caps? i see they are only half inch thick, so i should have no problems making a MDF ring to mount,.... damn these fuckers are ugly.. they better sound good!! i know im gonna have to watch my ass on these 20 watta RMS 50 watts max

im gonna be hitting 173 DB with my new set up
he started stammering and making shit up once i told him that i had a tl meter, and if he hit 170 then i would buy it.... he said that he was not sure if he would hit 170 because the power wire is different now, and he didnt have the same explorer he had then ... so i asked him what he thinks he would hit now? if its 160??? he said maybe... because of the power wire and all. its only 1 run of 0 gauge now.. he had to runs before.... then he stoped responding to my emails

ohm dummy load
of course i have 2 8ohm speakers that are less then 150 watts... and i need to run them 4 ohm stereo on the amp, i remember seeing somthing befor that you run inline to propose a ohm load to the amp, so im guessing i will need, two 4 ohm dummy loads,=4 ohm at the amp, or two 6 ohm dummy loads =2 ohms at the amp i can run this amp at 4 ohm stereo or 2 ohm stereo,. i have seen a few things on parts express... but not too sure what exacty i need... so someone that has used these be for would be great! thanks

Going To My First Car Audio Competion Tomorrow!!!!
do a test a tune find your peak, then turn your amp up and work your volume up bits at a time.. make sure that you charger your cell and have cool subs and amp,. (dont play with it) after tuning then burp in half second increments then turn it up a little, then again louder and louder,...... thats what i do anyway
-
Oh knoes!! It's making noise...
falk that noise.. that reduced so much of your audio it makes me want to throw up... besides,... if your arm got cut off would you put a scratch and sniff sticker on the wond and call it a day>??? nah.
-
Oh knoes!! It's making noise...
yes i am!!! thanks for noticing um.. sudden burst of audio can pop the pico . it draws a ground from the best grounded part of the connection.... the amp... when it pulls the ground thru the RCA wires it from the amp thru the RCA wire into the headunit thats when shit goes bonkers... if thats not more direct then ill quit till morning.
