Sen I think the IA's just seem to be a little bigger. I got adapters from car speaker adapters and I ended up having to dremel out quite a bit to get the IA's to fit. Otherwise looking good so far.

Well I guess that is one of the bonuses of piecing together and running active is trying a bunch of setups and equipment. I will try the exodus's and some vifas and go from there.. Thanks all for the help.

I will prolly run the anarchys from 80-2kish (heard thats where they start struggling) then run the tweets from 2k up. does this sound like a better plan? Or run the anarchys up to 1.5k and then run the tweets from there up.

I had the same exact setup ~3 years ago and I loved it. It actually made my buddy and I sick once....on some avenged sevenfold song. sold it cus I needed the money. Don't know if it ever got installed or not.

Thanks for the input impious. Your knowledge is greatly appreciated. Needs and goals are like you said to keep up with the zcons and with the IA's I feel that's not possible. My knowledge is installing basic items in my own cars for 12 years. Hu's speakers amps subs. Basic stuff. I am eager to begin doing more advanced stuff (active and such). And will work on whatever skills are required to achieve that. I have money set for the amp and anarchys so the rest of the budget would be for tweets and I'd say 1-150 for the pair.

Are you saying use a full range instead of a tweeter or do 3 way?

Thats the xovers on the 1100.4. The reason I would like to stay with that amp is because I really want to have matching amps. If I can't do 3 speakers with that amp then I will simply just do the anarchys and some tweets. I know that amps is 175x4 but the anarchiys are 8 ohm so they will only be seeing 90ish watts from that amp. Correct? So then any suggestions on tweets that can handle up to 90ish watts @8ohms or closer to the 175 @4 ohms? Will need to be 1" or around there. Im fine with modding. These will be in the stock sail panels. The pioneer unit has 3 sets of rcas total stefan. when active its Highs, Mids, Subs. Vladd I really don't know what esle I could have done on the install. Did the full sds treatment on the door and it appeared to be sealed up pretty damn good. Thanks for your help guys, its greatly appreciated.

ok so after talking to some people and realizing how mad that sa8 idea may have been, I've been thinking about the exodus's. Now If I was to do this, this would be the hypothetical situation. Running the anarchy's and a set of 4 inch speakers off of a crescendo 1100.4 Run some tweets off of the kenwood 60x2 I have now. My head unit is active capable. So would run the tweets off of the 'high" set of rca's. Then use the set of mid rca's to go to the 1100.4. Now this is where I have some questions. Say I low pass the mids at 2.5k and high pass at 80. Now with that signal can I xover at the amp and have the anarchy's at 80-300, then xover the 4" speakers at 300-2.5k? I hope that makes as much sense as it does in my head. Now for the tweets i'm looking at the vifa's because they seem to be getting great reviews over on diyma. But I'm a little stumped on the 4" speakers (mind you 4" is not set in stone, whatever I can make work on the dash). So any ideas on those? Budget I'm looking at under a 100 bucks hopefully for both, and the 1100.4 would be putting out 175 watts per side at 4 ohms.

Well Id rather use it since it seems to be some nice equipment or at least it was. Hopefully will hook it up this weekend and get a listen.

So dilemma: That audio equipment that I posted pics of, well my brother decided that he wanted it. Now he was good friends with our cousin (original owner of the equipment) before he killed himself. So he wants it for sentimental reasons, or so he says. The part that seems shady to me is the fact that he asked our mother if that stuff is worth anything. Now he has had drug problems in the past (meth) whether he still does or not I don't know. So I'm afraid of him selling the equipment for either drugs or booze. Now he can't really use the equipment, he lives in a small apartment. On the other hand I don't really want to be a dick to my brother because he has helped me out a lot in the past, before the drug problems. So either I be a dick and keep the equipment (that I will actually use) Or give it to him and run the risk of it being sold for stupid reasons.

You just wait. I'm gonnna make them fit.
