you may get more of a response making a thread instead of asking in a build log. but i dont really see it being a problem.

I too just installed a bc5500. I am running a dc320amp alt and 3 d3100's in the back. Starting battery is a optima blue top. At full tilt I'm dropping to 13.5-14 and 13 every once in a while. That should give you a closer idea.

naw they are quiet. just drove for an hour and a half listening to varius music and neither the zcons or the bc5500 got evevR warm

Never dropped below 13. And I think that idea would work. Just more fabricating. And make sure the bars wont touch anything that could ground them.

Good shit! What made you decide to get the crescendo amplifier? After looking at the options in that price range, and reading reviews about the amps, it came down to this one and the dc5k. Well the dc is 200 bucks more that I put towards batteries.

Sadly my phone doesn't show the carnage very well. Steering wheel was moving good...overhead lights were popping out.

Dual 1 ohm wired down to 1 ohm.

Base for the buss bars and the d3100's Power hooked up. Grounds. After the wires for the amp are added. Everything covered up. The Alerion box back in. The zcon just chilling. the bc5500 and kenwood chilling. The dual inputs on the bc5500. 4 1/0 + and 4 1/0 - And a little vid.

zcons showed up yesterday. Even corso was excited. Zcon on the left and xcon on the right. This is my tv getting messed up from over 5 feet away by the magnet from the xcon. If you look in the lower left corner you can see the green.

Obviously I'm not saving that well if I'm always spending it lol.

The chances that someones heard both of those sets is prolly pretty slim. And theres always the other problem. What sounds good to them may sound horrible to you.

You pretty much answered yourself by stating you would try both and sell the lesser pair. Thats gonna be your best bet.

I don't get what cranking amps would have to do with car audio. You should be looking at amp hours or ah. Cranking amps were more of a deal when every car had huge v8 engines and were hard to crank over.

Well the plan is to use just the 3100's and move a yellow top up front for a starter batt and take out the bluetop and second yellow top... all depends on how the voltage goes.

Shut up!...they have my other 18's in them and I don't have room in the back porch to put them....

Sadly wire wont be here till wed so itll have to wait till next week to put in.
