The bc5500 Got some toolmaker dual inputs so the amp will have 4 1/0+ and 4 1/0- wires feeding it. bunch of 1/0 terminals i got on sale from parts express 3 xs d3100's!!! First one is just the xs batts, the second is with the 2 optima's added. Will only run the optimas if needed. Zcon's will be here tomorrow but waiting on wire to show up so prolly won't be in till next week.

I'm on quite a few scion forums. Yeah I kinda cringe watching what people put in their toasters. Of course most of them aren't willing to give up the back seat like me and want stealth builds.

Look at the terminals that come with it. On the S it has the brass "knobs" that you screw in and makes it like a normal starting battery.

Get into that xmas spirit!

Also I would l ike to add that if you plan on doing your roof....it helps to have friends. Was a pain to get the headliner out and back in by myself.

After I first got the headliner off. My great stuff and SDS CLD tiles. After the great stuff. Did clean it up a little bit. After the cld tiles went up. Acoustica Mat up. So since I didn't have the time to put the subs back in it was hard to judge how well this was working....but I did the next best thing I could think of. Took it to the carwash. Now if anyones ridden in a scion they know that when it rains it just sounds like a sheet metal getting hit with rain. Very loud and annoying. Well when I went through the car wash I couldnt even tell the water was hitting it. Was like a mild low note if that makes sense. So I can't wait to see how it handles the zcons.

I could dig it if they got a new lead singer..... Although I catch myself saying that about many bands.

Well I have very little play time with it installed. And I feel its not going to be a fair comparison seeing as I went from stock to the IA comps. But I can tell you that they IA comps do sound amazing so far. I feel I can safely assume that part of that is the deadening in the door. Very tight "poppy" bass. After I get some drive time and listen time, I will make some better reports.

Nice. yeah I should have figured they were pioneer speakers since the stock decks are pioneers. They really weren't that bad tbh, but I am definetly enjoying these IA comps.

Doors had some stock "deadener" much like the cld tiles. I just added to it and around it. Getting ready to cut the mlv....of course Corso had to help me. MLV with the CCF attached. Both doors done..... Well I thought they were done. Seems I should have listened to the instructions better and done it outside on the door itself. But 30 degrees was not fun. And I learned my mistake when putting the mlv/ccf back on the door and trying to get the door panel on and it didn't work out. The IA comps in the door. I ended up having to move the xovers because there was no room behind the door panel. The MLV/CCF on the doors. As you can see I ended up trimming quite a bit to make it fit. But I believe all of the necessary parts were covered. The IA tweets sitting in the corner of the doors. Didn't know scion used pioneer comps as stock speakers....thought you had to get the upgrade. One of the reasons I love this car. That is 2/0 welding cable sitting pretty in the stock wire clips. Drivers side with the rca's. Gonna have to figure out where to run the welding cable for the ground. Got this the other day! Getting ready to go in. Setting up the kenwood deck for the IA comps. I tend to take most of what I read over there as drivel. Most can't make coherent post about anything because some companies nuts are jammed deep in their mouths.

I think I read somewhere that sometimes companies will say things like that to stay on the safer side of things. Every situation is different and many factors play into what someone can get from a piece of equipment.

That does like nice shizzon bit I feel that may be more than I need. Mine would really only need like 6 bolt holes in a line. Btw where were you planning on placing that.

Well those terminals were mainly for on the batteries. My plan. And I hope I describe this correctly. Is to have a board with a seriesof bolts with fuses attaching to another series of bolts. Have the battery connections on one side and the run from the front going to a buss bar attacheched to the other bolts. As for my fuse holder. The plan is to have 2 optima yellow tops and 3 d3100s in the wheel well of my Xb. So I can't just line them up.
