Well got the car yesterday. Today took it back cus as soon as I hit 60 car shakes violently. Under 60 it drives perfectly fine. FML

Ok since I also changed from the q to the xcons ill chime in. In sealed the xcon has more thump than the q. I actually discovered bass beats in songs that I hadn't heard before. Love my xcons I have now. Running two 15" sealed in 3 cf each on an audiopipe 3k and it sounds awesome.

After owning both I'd say go with the bl. To me they sounded about the same with the bl giving a little bit more thump. I only switched to the q because I prefer to run sealed enclosures.

They should have discovered that on the estimate, or at worst when they first pulled everything apart for repair. yeah forgot to mention that...they had the car taken apart and found that and other damage. But should have my car back by next wednesday.

So actually talked to the shop today...seems when I hit that rock it shot the suspension up so hard that the mount actually looked like a cone........

Two more weeks till I get the car back. Guess they found more damage when they started taking her apart. So this pioneer avh3200 will be sitting on my table for a while.

The 1 guage or 3/0? was gonna buy a mix of both i think to clamp onto the 2/0 I got.

Nope 1/0 will be slightly larger. Would I be able to open them up a little bit to clamp onto 1/0? I only ask cus theres a place i can get a bunch for like 14 cents each.

quick question that I didnt want to make a thread for. Is 1 gauge and 1/0 gauge the same thing? In relation to ring terminals.

Sure. The local place around her has relays for about 4-5 bucks. This one come wired and shrink wrapped. 10 bucks is really nothing to worry about so I didn't see it as being a problem.

I ordered this HU also. Jman I just bought the bypass on ebay. Basically just the relay with he wires but its all shrink wrapped and ready to go. Was only 10 bucks so figured it wasn't that big of a deal.

It's all good. I figured something must have happened and it was no big deal. I guess my statement was a bit over done lol. Mostly its just the resonance as you'd say. Flex I'm not really to worried about but I just don't like the "metally" sound if that makes any sense. As far as I can tell it would mostly be the roof section and the back tailgate section would be the worst culprits. Thanks for the reply.

Hey, I sent an email around octoberish about deadening my 08 scion xb but never received a reply. I don't know if the email got lost or what. I rechecked the address and it was the same as what everyone says to reach you at. If there is a better way to contact you about sds products just let me know. Hope to hear from you as these xcons are doing some work on my car.

So got a call from nationwide today. Car is set to get fixed. Dunno what all was actually wrong with it but will find out when they mail me the report. Also deductible was only 250 instead of 500. So thats a plus.

Just because you have all that space doesn't mean you need to make the box that big. Just make one for 4cf like recommended.

Well car is at the shop now....we'll see how it goes.

So going into the shop on thursday to get an estimate on the damage to my car. I know the axle shaft on that side has to be fucked cus it sounds horrendous when I'm driving it (only drive to work ). And the suspension is probably shot seeing as the tire is sitting a good inch or two back from the stock position.

So got the stock steelies put back on....pretty sure the suspension on the front right tire is effed. The axle sounds horrible.
