  3. Hey guys right now I have 2 12" ssds running off us amps 4000.1 (1500 rms) and the subs are in 2.5^3 ft per sub @ 33 Hz. The box is just soo big and so hard to deal with and I want to build a sealed box and see which i like better. Is it normal with this large of a ported box i have a very weak upper end?? I want to put the ssds in the best suited sealed box. I have an avalanche and the box goes in the bed so i have plenty of room. I was thinking somewhere a long the lines of a sealed box around 1.1-1.3. You guys know these subs the best so if you were going to build a sealed enclosure what deminsions would you build it to. I have plenty of room so it doesnt matter how wide or tall as long as it fits within the 49" by 24" by 72" bed. Thanks if someone could provide a cutout sheet or the deminsions and ill be set b/c my first box to build was ported and thats the hardest from what i've heard
  4. Well I'm sorry about the dimension confusion. It is in fact the 49". So yea If you could send me the original box plans if you havent deleted them already. Thanks
  5. I sent you an email scott. here is what i have to work with about 63" X 42" 22". I understand how to build a regular box but the midgate part is a little tricky. Do I first build the box. Then take out hte midgate and lay it down over a piece of wood and trace around it, cut that out, and then cut the holes out for the subs and then screw that piece of wood to the box once it is in place??? Thanks
  6. Okay I just recieved my two 12" SSD with copper coils about a week ago. I purchased a very large sheet of mdf yestarday so I'm set with wood. I also just purchased a US AMPs XT4000D so I am also set on power. This is my first time building a box. I am going to be putting the box in the bed of my avalanche so I have a boat load of room. I was going to tune to about 32 or 33 Hz and do 2.5 cubes per sub. This box will be ported. If someone could provide me with diminsions that would be awesome!!! or even a plans. My friend who is going to be helping me build the box (he has experience building boxs) said he will help me. Thanks a lot if any of yall could help me!!!!!
