opps forgot my rear speakers and center are CDT cl coaxails 5 1/4s

NORMAL cds sound best on a 2.1 system DVDs and DVD audio best on a 5.1 system Now what I did was build around both worlds sure its not perfect ethier way DVDs sound like azz when played through 2.1 and normal cds the oposite. my system is as follows panasonic cdq6505u dvd with 5.1 built in allows me to turn off any channels or processes I want front amp alpine mrf250 4/channel bridged to my fronts 100watts each front speakers CDT hd 6.5 rear and center amp alpine mrf250 4/channel 2 channels bridged to the center 100watts, and 2 channels stereo to the rears 40watts each sub amp elemental designs 9.2 bridged to 4ohm 400watts sub a single 4 ohm sound splinter RL-i8 sealed at .5 cuft most of the time its cds with just the front speakers and sub running

I already have one rl-i8 soundsplinter but i worried that I won't get enough out of it (not in car yet) so ive been lookin at porting it I can't go any bigger then 1 cube after port. it will get 400watts. I would just get one more and do two sealed but I can't afford another one. I have never built a ported box before, what size chamber and port do I use? can I just build one like this guy? this would fit in where I want it. at 400watts would this get plenty loud? want to hit at least 135db. http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=246811 thanks all before hand

wow thats pretty big I don't think I can pull that large off in My Scion xb since I need all of the cargo area for stroller and other baby stuff. Ill have to go sealed

I have a single RLI-8 i really want to port. how much airspace is your box before the port? and how big is your box total? if you don't mind me askin
