  4. I have the room for ported i might just build one, but I had a good sealed box layin around so I AM A use it for the time being but will 400w rms in a ported box be to much for that dcon
  5. To the ear****
  6. I mean I ain't tryin to beat the block down just loud to eat in my truck?
  7. I just bought a dcon 12 I'm putting in a 1.75 sealed box with 400w rms I know they hold up strong in the sq department but how about spl?? Will it be loud in a xtracab tacoma?
  8. Tune it with a meter anyways I don have the resources to do it at home I understand how to do it but I think I'll be fine if I'm not killin it 24/7 I just want sq type install I'm not gonna try to beat the block apart, I want it to be a clean solid bass and I've heard of ppl giving them 500w rms. mine will be in a sealed box
  9. What do you mean clean signal ?? No clipping? I'm having a custom shop put it in an tune it all for me.
  10. I have a dcon 12 and plan to run it bridged with a Boston acoustics gt-2125 at 400w rms will that be too much it's a daily driver so I'm not gonna be pushing crazy hard all the time I plan to keep gain low and bass not so high
  11. That's true about subs displacement would have it about right. I only want to run it sealed until I can get another box I mean for the time being with 400w I think I should be ok
  12. I have a 2004 tacoma ext cab with a single ssa dcon 12 svc 4 0hm and a Boston acoustics gt-2125 bridged to give the dcon 400w rms at 4ohms. I have a sealed box with 1.25 cuft of airspace it's a prefab ground shaker here I can use, it's new and came as a gift, my question is how would it sound sealed with 400w rms in a sealed enclosure?? All this stuff is new, and I just don't have 200 for a custom tune box right now and I really want to have something in my truck would it be good to use this sealed box or get a tuned and ported box.
