  1. if you have something to say, say it. Sucks you have to wait, but you're getting a high quality product for a low price, I know it.. To see you complain about it is kinda annoying, I waited just as long as you. You're not the only one, you come off as if SSA owes you something. They're doing you a favor by giving you a great product on team pricing. Not tryin' to start shit but that gets on my nerves... Biting the hand that feeds. I can for sure see where you are coming from too, but you might not know everything about the agreement between Steve and SSA. I don't either that's why I won't say anything else.
  2. Cool! Post your thoughts about them if you get a chance.
  3. Can you post pics?
  4. I'm over all the ass kissing and praise. Just want my fuckin subs. You know? I can understand that man. It sucks that you have missed all of those shows.
  5. Can you elaborate on the baffle they used? You can make one out of wood. Usually the stock plastic baffle is far from ideal.
  6. You're not kiddin' at all. I wanted one of these bad when the post about Best Buy went up, by the time I had the funds available they were gone.... Well then I'm glad you got it, I was just gong to toss it in the closet for future use. Enjoy!
  7. Either way quick sale!
  8. If Alton doesn't I'm next lol
  9. You said that you were going to do it and you did, props to you. What equipment did you use? Are you happy with it?
  10. No not "all of a sudden" I asked you to elaborate and you declined to.
  11. If you would like to learn more about enclosures and designing them please shoot me a PM. You have made yourself look like a big enough ass that I don't have to. Other than that I'm done cluttering this thread.
  12. OK here goes.... he stated it was a 4th order. Then you ask "is it a bandpass enclosure, or just a standard ported?"... there you go pal... in any case i have never heard or even think that someone would ever put the port into a cabin without the sub if it was a standard ported box, so that should've been outta the question even if you didnt see what he wrote. Lol good point since a "4th order" does NOT mean that it is a bandpass enclosure. And nowhere in the video does it show the sub, it very well could have been firing into the cabin behind the seat. Got anything else?
  13. Well you tried to call me out and you failed.
  14. Sorry that you made a mistake bud.
  15. Please enlighten me, what questions were answered in his original post?
  16. What is that supposed to mean?
  17. Try raising the lpf on your sub amp a bit. Is your front stage amped?
  18. What frequencies are you lacking? Budget?
  19. If you need mid bass, pro audio drivers are not the solution.
  20. If you want to decrease volume you will want to add blocks of wood, or close off a portion of the enclosure. Polyfil actually makes a driver behave as if it is in a larger enclosure.
  21. I'd shoot for a minimum of 6" width. Determining the minimum amount of port area has NOTHING to do with the size of the enclosure.
  22. Start a bit bigger, then you can always put things inside of the enclosure to reduce the volume.
