  1. Have to agree. I use the biggest one I can fit under my hood, and the biggest one they sell in the trunk. I've replaced both a couple times over the years without an issue. They cost me about 100 each when I first bought them. Every time I get a new one the warranty renews. The only real downside is that they need to be mounted upright. Iv'e always thought that would be a good idea, but what about the fact its not a sealed battery in the trunk? Do you smoke? I'd feel more comfortable with a sealed battery in case I have any oops along the way. Sears sells Odyssey rebadges for $200. I'll check if Walmart has some agm similar batteries. These look nice http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Duralast-Platinum-Battery/1996-Infiniti-I30/_/N-j4xjlZacy27?counter=0&itemIdentifier=319464_351690_0_

Selling my Audiopipe 1500. Mechanically 10/10 cosmetically 7/10. It's time for more power so I need to upgrade. The mounting feet on one side of the amp are bent a bit as shown in picture 3. Amp will ship in the original packaging. The price is 125 shipped obo

  4. Get the Aura It'll be hard to get anything better at that price.
  5. Thought this was pretty awesome, hope it hasn't been posted yet. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/CD-Receivers/DEH-80PRS
  6. I'll PM my number. Glad to help!
  7. Good job man! Looks pretty sick for a single 15.
  8. As long as you keep the headliner, carpet, trim pieces, etc undamaged you will have no problem returning to "stock". Just bolt it down and the carpet should cover anything that you've done.
  9. who would you reccommend? Check out DC Creations, or RAM Designs. Prefabs are usually tuned very high with nowhere near enough port area for the frequency that they are tuned to, or the drivers that are being used.
  10. If you are on a budget build it yourself, prefab enclosures are not a great option. Contact one of the builders on here for a quote and if it is out of your price range build it yourself.
  11. Why don't they have harddrives, how easy is it to open the case for installing a hdd, and hows the battery life? Very easy to change. My sister buys a new laptop every year or so it seems and gives me the old ones. I threw the good hard drive into my laptop and run linux on one and windows 7 on the other. The other drive had a virus and wasn't worth fixing. I forgot the battery on the dell is completely useless. Both batteries in the Toshiba's are decent/good but the 13" is ~4 years old. The newer Toshiba was about $1000 and was purchased in august of 2010. Mmkay, well I'm going to look around but I'll keep that in mind, I'll be running linux as well, several distros. Cool just let me know.
  12. Yeah both the 15 and 17 that I have are sata.

  14. If you're good with computers I have a 13" and 15" toshiba or a 17" dell without hard drives. The 17 and 15 are dual core's with 4gb of ram. I'd sell them to you on the cheap as I don't use them.
  15. Hope you had a good one!
  16. Just pop a Vicodin every 4-6 hours and sleep for a day or two. I literally slept ~48 hours straight only waking up to have ice cream and Vicodin. I woke up the third day and felt fine, but some people have told me that they took longer to feel better.

That is normal. Your amp will be fine.
  18. And if your seats don't fold down.... I'm sure they can be taken out some how. Much easier said than done man. Most it's just a metal clip that holds the seat in, in numerous cars that I've worked on that's been the case. My car I had to: Unclip the seat bottom (easy) Remove two bolts from seat back and remove (easy) Remove a piece of sheet metal that supported the seat back involved ~10 screws and several rivets that had to be hammered loose (kind of a pain/Moderate) This left me with an odd shaped opening that I had to hammer into a big enough shape to make it usable, this involved many cuts and bruises to get the result that I wanted. This step obviously will reduce the structural integrity of the vehicle which had to be addressed. (Very time consuming and takes a lot of work to get your "stock" look back/Hard) In conclusion I consider myself to be above average in the install department and this wasn't "easy". So suggesting that someone who can't properly measure their trunk opening take on this task doesn't make sense to me.

  21. Yeah man don't get discouraged, have Dustin measure or mock up a box. Or sell it to me for $100.
  22. Thanks! Bass hits at ~20 seconds.
  23. yup, gonna have to chop the tops of the seats off I think that you are absolutely insane! But I really enjoy the fact that you don't give a shit what anyone thinks and do what makes YOU happy. Do your thing man.
