Durango Rattle Control
My rear deck had a bad rattle, the solution was a folded up sock wedged in between two pieces of metal. I have a TON of money invested in deadening but that damn sock worked perfectly in that spot. Isolate the noise by muting your front stage and shove something in between.

anyone here design sub boxes?
- Doubting my box for newly purchased Icon
That is nowhere near enough port area. You can get away with less on a flared aeroport and plus the OP will be using it on low power. It is still not enough.- Doubting my box for newly purchased Icon
That is nowhere near enough port area.- if i were to get a battery what would i need?
Are you saying it's that good of a batt? Or what it cost compared to its performance is good? Never thought to look at walmarts batteries. I've heard they weren't good. Maybe I heard wrong; I'd like to know more! I run the g34 platinum from autozone in the rear, and a big ass walmart battery under the hood. Can't beat being able to swap them ~1 mile away from my house if something happens.- Kenwood vs Pioneer SQ and Ease of Use/ SQ setup
Set the tweeters to -4db and see if that is better.- Kenwood vs Pioneer SQ and Ease of Use/ SQ setup
Do the type r crossovers have tweeter attenuation?- NEM's Evilinator!!
You and me both brother, I am really considering trying to cram an 18 in the trunk. Obviously doing it the right way, I think that it's doable with a lot of work.- NEM's Evilinator!!
Neal I didn't need much of a reason to try out the Evil but you and Mr. Senchezz have made me want one so bad. I think that after I complete this next build it will be time to get Evil!- NEM's Evilinator!!
Great, another wife pissed at me. It's always Aarons fault, when in doubt blame him- Cablguy184's 1949 Ford Tudor Sedan
I hear you man. I'm taking on my first real "custom" front stage and finding time seems to be the hardest part.- Cablguy184's 1949 Ford Tudor Sedan
Mid and tweet in the dash and 8s in the kick pannels ... Nice! This should be a really cool build all around.- Cablguy184's 1949 Ford Tudor Sedan
What are you planning on audio wise? Sorry if I missed it...- Cablguy184's 1949 Ford Tudor Sedan
The origional guages ran off of the origional 6 volt system and will not run off of the 12 volt system, so they have to be rebuilt. That is my plan, but if it doesn't work, then I plan to go with the Dakotas ...Most people would want the dash left origional when it comes to audio, But I want this dash to look a little bit more modern with the audio system and air conditioner setup ... Cool man, just throwing my two cents out there. Tuned in either way!- Cablguy184's 1949 Ford Tudor Sedan
Why not hide the head unit, and keep the original gauges (if possible)? Keep the dash unmolested.- Please advise on wire
Monoprice is what I use. I get my stuff within 2 business days too, but I'm sure that it depends on your location. I have three sets of RCA's in my car, and three runs (just in case I do a 3-way setup) of speaker wire per door. And I have a bunch of stuff for my home setup too.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
You had a hell of a day haha- Welcome to the IHoP v.2

That's the best one, I haven't really played anything since then either.- How batts help?
