  1. I can help with a basic design if that is the issue, or use one of the pre designed enclosures located here http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/index.php/product-information/dcon.html
  2. How much did you pay for that? It does not appear to be very well built. Is the dividing board inside of the port slanted, and how thick is it?
  3. That is what I mean. If you low pass a 6.5 low enough you can use it without worrying about beaming.
  4. I agree on the do it yourself idea. If you must buy a prefab that one looks pretty decent.
  5. A 6.5 crossed low enough should be fine.
  6. Just a disclaimer: I AM new to properly setting up an active setup so I am by no means an expert on this topic.
  7. Why would you use a 5.25 in a 3 way? I would rather have an active 2 way than most passive 3 ways. I'm sorry, that's what I meant. An active 2 way with dual 5.25's6.5's will provide more mid bass, and if you cross them over properly you'll be fine.
  8. Why would you use a 5.25 in a 3 way? I would rather have an active 2 way than most passive 3 ways.
  9. Lol same here.....now I am just looking for a cheap mid to fill the hole and not be used.
  10. Same here, and I agree.
  11. Driver placement will be very important, as well as treating the doors for the mids. (assuming that they are going in the door) Are you considering an active setup?
  12. Bro I was thinking about those, what was the shipping weight on yours? If it is under 72lbs they can go military posta,l anything over and I'm looking at $400 or so shipped to Japan. I am 99% sure that they are less than 72lbs.
  13. Why did you even box them up? Do you know that they are blown? No offense but you definitely don't sound like someone with 20 years of experience.
  14. Very cool, I like the idea of a girl with ZCONs! I'm sure that there aren't many out there. How do you like them?
  15. I thought that you were waiting on XCONs? I could be mixing up two different builds though. Looks awesome!
  16. I would even count on longer, especially for the recone.
  17. I don't think we ever had who clicked 'dislike' visible, as before it was only the like button and who liked it. Now it is both. It seems to have more people voting on posts now. After you recently turned the "dislike" back on you could see who liked/disliked each of your posts. Awesome job though on the update! It seems to be running great guys. Thanks Aaron and Mark!
  18. The Q's have been changed since then (I think) but the enclosure is still a good fit. You can provide your maximum height, width, and depth and we can see if you might be able to do something better.
  19. Cut sheets look just fine by the way.
  20. Makes sense man! Then you can add a second 12 down the road
