  1. Thanks guys. Got my new saw today so I went ahead and put together my new box All that's left is I have to cut out the 2nd sub woofer hole, got too late and I couldn't use power tools anymore.
  2. Well, I can definitely understand if it's been 3 times. This is number 2 for me. First time he didn't even troubleshoot until after it was sent back. He just upped me from a 270 to 300. This time he was able to get the alt back on 4/4/2013 and found out the issue was a faulty internal regulator (would only charge under extreme rpm above 4k and only until it reached 14.7volts then would drop again). He then shipped it back out and it was out for delivery 4/9/2013. However, Fedex dropped the ball and says "attempt not made" on the tracking. We will see this time if this thing lasts at all. From my understanding there have been a few people that have been successful in getting refunded so you wouldn't have any losses. I'd give it a shot. I honestly wouldn't touch anything less than 6 phase hairpin after going through all this crap unless i had extras laying around. I mean if you run quad alts or something it would be worth it, but if you are just replacing a single alt then I'd probably say Mechman or DC all day. I've had my Singer alt in my Jeep for about a week now, and I have absolutely 0 Complaints. I have no problem recommending Singer to anyone, just to add to your Mechman or DC all day comment although Singer might take a week or so longer then those companies.

Were you able to get the videos smaller? or did you bite the bullet and take like 2 days to upload them?
  5. Finally got some nice weather and got my Digital Voltage Meter in the mail today so I went ahead and installed it. As I was installing it I noticed how much space I had behind this panel so I figured its the perfect place for my Subwoofer gain remote too. Overall I'm pretty happy with how clean everything looks. Also received my Jasper 200J today, I'm expecting my Plunge Saw to come in the mail tomorrow, and hopefully my Router too if not on Thursday. Then I can finally get started on my new box.
  6. You could also look into Amazon cloud.
  7. I love how clean the box looks.
  8. Not sure if im following you 100% but for android that would be Google Play https://play.google.com/music/listen

  14. 270 Amp from Michael Singer installed with an 87" Serpentine belt (Stock size is 88.8") My old battery My new DieHard Platinum 34M Surprisingly was smaller then my stock battery so I had to shove a small piece of MDF Under the battery tray boltdown? I am EXTREMELY Happy with Michael Singers services, His customer service is outstanding out of all the times I emailed him he always replied within a few hours. His build time is also right on with his estimated lead time, as said overall I have absolutely no complaints about him and if I ever need an alternator in a different vehicle I definitely plan on using him.
  15. I was gonna recommend AMDs new APU Series, not sure if your still looking though.
  16. Just got my alternator from Michael Singer today and installed it. I've got to say my experience with him has been GREAT Super fast responses whenever I email him never any longer then a few hours, and a lot of times I get a response within minutes. Payment was made the 12th of March, the alternator was shipped on April 2nd, received today the 4th. Somehow a picture of my cat was uploaded to photo bucket as well, so might as well add it
  17. Thanks guys definitely eases the mind. I'll be sure to check under the hood from time to time though.
  18. I have a spring tensioner, and maybe I'm just paranoid. But at any rate better to ask and be positive, then to not ask and deal with more problems. In my head I see shortening the belt as making everything spin faster which is where my concern was.
  19. I understand that but I'm asking is if possible to shorten a belt too much? well obviously if its too short it wont fit, but I mean shorten it too much within the range that will still fit.
  20. I just installed my new alternator from Mike Singer which has a smaller pulley then my Jeeps stock alternators pulley He recommended shortening my serpentine belt by 1" my Jeeps stock length is 88.8", and the closest to this I could find was 87". I've installed the 87" one and it fits, and no problems are apparent but I'm wondering if anyone knows if this can cause problems later on down the road? with my water pump? ac condenser? I just emailed Mike asking if this was alright but I figured I'd throw a post up here as well.
  21. He's posted a few pictures of his Setup, although he Deleted the one where he had 2 Sub Boxes, and 2 different sets of Subs.
  22. I mean if Jon was walled off this would be valid.... Jon has a trunk setup and it's a beast Even at that, hes running 6 Sony Xplods Jon still is probably louder.
  23. thanks i will pm after i purchase the stuff and begin install i am going to wait til it is a little warmer i could try jamming the door but my cars a 1999 so i don't want to be jammin on it tbh guys killing the door chime is a bad idea i have not looked into it but i am quite sure it is beyond my skills i get very nervous when messing with stuff un-car audio related and i will not lie there is a chance i could be turning the speaker on for music play atparking lot ricer events i want to be the coolest OR You could just pull the fuse, for the door chime, assuming on your car it isn't associated with the radio. I know on my Jeep it isn't.
  24. Pepboys, autozone, radioshack, you can buy a toggle switch from any of them. Better off just ordering one off Ebay, as I saw a few switches for like $15 each at pepboys Nvm radioshack has them for a decent price
