VW02

I've had a Mag D2 for about a month now. And ever since I've had it, when my hu is at high volumes and the bass is hitting hard, it skips like crazy. I have just a normal $150 JVC hu, it sucks and I'm saving up for a new one. But are there any suggestions to help keep it from skipping? (foam or any padding?)

I running a simple jvc head unit(2 volts) w/ some regular pioneer speakers in the doors, they really aren't that great. Then I have stock 3.5's in the dash w/ stock components which actaully are awesome. They've never distorted, but brimg out midbass when my sub is pounding away. I'm basically looking to find a setting that will bring some higher bass guitar notes(I play it). Thanks a lot for your help!

I just got my magnum in the mail today . I put it right in my box (2.1 @29hz) and wired it up to a brutus 1000 at 1ohm, put in some sublime and wow .I've never had a sub before so this if my first install. I've only heard other kids at my high school and the only one that even comes close to this in loudness and sound quality is a kid w/ a 12L7 in a less than 1 cube box and it's still not as loud. This may not be the right place to post this but if anyone has this amp has any ideas what to set my amp settings at, that would be wonderful. There's Subsonic 15-36hz, bass eq 0-18, lowpass 35-250, and the level/gain 9v-.2v. Thanks.

Yep, he just sent me a reply. Yeah I guess that would be hard doing all this, and then having a regular job.

Same for me too, I ordered a 12 on monday night and got a response a 1/2 hour later and he said he would check his e-mail for the paypal. But still no response. I think he may be out of town or something because as you can notice he hasn't been at the forum either in the past few days.

From what I've read, not heard, the brahma is an all out SQ driver even though it's still loud, but a D2 will get louder so you can shut up the punk sitting next to you. But then again that is what I have read

^I'd have to agree w/ that about the "wall saw" I got my sheet of mdf cut into some basic pieces to cut home and I remeasured a day later and they were off by over an 1/8 of an inch on every cut. He was measuring right there, I watched him, but that huge thing isn't that accurate.

yeah I got a 100watt ampeg bass amp and at 8 out of 10 it's still louder than anyone's system in my 2500person high school . Until I get my mag.......

Buy a good alternator if your going to spend money on a cap, i'm sure it'll do u better for the money.

How much woul you charge me for plans of a 2ft^3 29hz box for a 12magnum?

Check with Gnome(he has a forum here),he can sell u all the info needed to build a box at really reasonable price.Maybe I can sell u my box how much would you sell that 2ft^3 box to me for? If your going to sell it.

I was wondering if you could send me box plans of ur ported box if thats for a 12 cause i was going to build one just like it but i have no box building experience and don't understand fully how to make a ported box. Thanks
