hey man im lookin for a new amp, how much did u pick that one up for?

i agree thats why i changed mine back to the old one, but thats because im part color blind and the dark colors are too close for me to see. I think we are the only two that dont love it lol Tom

heres the thing, i have almost exactly 4 cubes to work with, the drivers require 1.5-2.0 ft^3, the displacement of them is .18 ft^3. So should i just use the whole 4 cubes no matter how much volume the port takes up?

i hope this is the right section butt.... Im still a nexb to box building and I want to make a ported box. It will house two sound splinter Rl-p 12s. I still need to find an amp so i dunno the exact wattage ill be giving them, but i want to give them like 600-800 a piece so thatd be 1200-1600 total. I want kind of an LSQ tuning so would 34hz be alright? (thats what the site suggests) If not then just tell me what you guys would think the best LSQ tuning would be. Then how do I figure out the dims of the slot port once i kno what hz i want??

I havent heard either, but I voted 15s sealed because you always have the option of going ported or switching to one 15. I have a reg cab s10 and ill be porting two of the Rl-p 12s. Just want you to know that either way you go, they are great subs and Mike (the owner of the company) is an awesome guy to deal with. My buddy has a 13w7 and burnt up a friggin voice coil on it with only like 1100 watts, how is this possible?? It wasnt overpowered, it was professionally installed in a ported box, and plus i thought it was supposted to be VERY difficult to do that to a w7??

I just did the EXACT same thing, I had saved up for some subs and then i came across 20s for $300, like you i couldt pass it up. But it kinda sux cuz now i still gotta save up for audio and tires so right now i have neither. But its all good cuz i have a hook up(i can get all for tires for like 250 haha) By the way I have a 2002 s10, what do you have?

If you wanna just buy a few things, thatll probably be fine but just be careful. I havent really found one I like too much, they all seem like they dont know what they are talking about.
