I had that same problem with sound deadener. I live in Atlanta so the trunk can get very hot!. I used the cheaper Edead and it just didn't stick. Thought I could save a bit by going with the thinner material. I tried Dynamat Extreme next and that stuff is there over 2 years later.

I have the Focal 165K2's and are quite pleased with them. They are getting 75 RMS and they sound great.

Lastly, I can't remember the whole story on the James Jean Atoic sub explosion. If I remember correctly the sub was hooked to two microwaves (Audiobahn SPL5000)'s and a flame literrally came out of the sub! Not sure about the truth to it, but there does seem to be some damage!

This is a pic of my old EXP. Notice the silver duct tape around the ports and such. I got a friends brother to believe that we were going to tape the whole interior with that stuff because it is shiny and refelcts sound better than anything else. Was pretty funny.

How about a 12" Mofo vs a 12" CV Hed?
