shoot for 2-12s in a trunck thats not a bad score. was it on the new termlab mic. and yeah try tuneing a little higher, i would go 36-38hz w/60-80sqin of port area... jamie

i just got my hands on 2-12s, they were at the shop in the back just sitting there... so im going to grab one and build a few boxs (sealed and ported) and see what happens.... ill have a little review on it, plus of other POWERBASS subs....(most likely all there subs)... i should be finished all the test and post reviews but the end of october.... jamie

man good luck, with so many new companys comming out these days it is very hard to pick a sub/amp.... but i would stay away from RF, maybe the new stuff is good but i wouldnt chance it... back in the day they were good but now a days theres lots better for the money.... the other guys are right try a sub company thats not so big, they seem to help the little ppl out more.... good luck cant wait to see your install... will they be fiberglass in the install.... jamie

yeah thoughs are well build subs, 500w each would be perfect. you can build a ported box and tune it to around 30-32hz and that should make them move very nicely... if you need any help please feel free to email me or find me on this forum... jamie

ok this is what im working with, i have a 94 corolla 4dr the the subs will be in the trunk faceing the front. the box will be sealed off from the cab. im going to be useing 2-15pbx subs and 2-optidrive2000d (4000w @ 1ohm). the box will be 5cuft @35-38hz w/100sqin port area. ive hit high 130s db with just 1-8" sub w/around 250w on my meter (termlab) so i think i can do it ... so if anybody knows of someone who has hit 150 or over with a trunk setup have them holla at me, or you can just tell me what they did.... thanks jamie
