I'm interested in getting a vey high resolution "Magnum" logo. I figured since they can no longer be called "Magnums" that perhaps a high resolution image might now be available without any conflict. I'm not sure if this is directed towards me, but my guess is it is in reference to my "TheHammer" nick name. This name is not taken from the TRu Technology amp, but from the 1996 Stephen King movie "Thinner". 2 used VR1000d for $200 less than a single new VR2000d ? Also have to factor in the extra wiring/power wire, space etc. As I understand it the 2000 is 2 x 1000's under the same heat sink. (I could be wrong tho). The Hammer

Actually neither of my Magnums have ever seen power. They are in original shipping boxes still (took them out to look at of course). I'll put them into use yet, one of these days. Maybe I'll only use one of them and sell the other one when the SI brand name goes "big time"...heh. The Hammer

Or listen to some of your fav music (eyes closed). "D2" is too closley tied to "dual 2 ohm" .. not very inspirational for a name really, fine to indicate the VC config, but not a name. Was magnum originally chosen in reference to the "gun", the "large wine bottle", or the "masterpiece" (as in Magnum Opus... an artists greatest work)? That might have a bearing on the direction you choose to head in for a name aswell. Heck .. keep making good drivers and call it "the arse" and it'll sell. (hmmmm... logo ideas) I'd say play off the "Integrity" name and meaning. Go with an all "godzilla theme" Lots to choose from there. Greek mythology ? .... I wasn't going to but the stock speakers have horrible cone breakup and it's driving me absolutley nuts. So I might aswell. The system has to be simple and mostly from items I already have. Space is a consideration since the vans main purpose is work (lots of tools supplies etc in the back). The Vehicle is a 1997 AWD Astro Cargo Van. 2 seats and the rest is wide open (1 parts shelf a foot or so back from the drivers seat all the way to the back doors). I'll use an RFX-8240 for source. (Maybe I'll fashion a feaux 'stock deck' face.) I have a set of old MB Quart separates 6.5" QM 160TC mids 1" QM 19HC Titanium tweets with Passive crossovers. Figure stock (door) locations maybe tweets surface mounted on the door somewhere. Use my Nakamichi PA-2004 to power the entire system. MB Quarts should like 100W a side. That leaves the rear channels for the subwoofer. I was thinking a single 8" or 10" sealed. I don't need a boom van just a lil sub frequency. Any suggestions on a cheap sub? Maybe RE8?? Maybe TB8?? Maybe eD8A?? still available? Maybe eD 10kx?? SI prototype 8" or 10" (.. come on Nick got anything?) Need a good performer in a SMALL box. Budget is as low as I can get away with and be happy. I know that's not much help, but I wanna play this one cheap since I already have all the other stuff. I might consider ported if I can have my snappy bass, I don't need crazy volume as I don't really want to attact the neighborhood B&E crew. The Hammer
