It actually just stems from the fact that a family friend friend is a bad ass mechanic but only works on Johnson/Evinrudes but he doesn't work on the new FI stuff anyways so I'm kind of just being biased for fun. That, and Johnson was the first to come out with the clean 2 stroke IIRC Ya all i know pretty much is Johnson/Evinrude. and only really know about the yamaha cause of a buddies Rabalo that has twin 250 4-strokes, they are very nice! And as far as the 2-strokes go now a days you are right that their really isnt any mixing required. Just make sure the oil stays full on the injectors and your set. and us south texans dont use trolling motors cuz its sort of hard to troll in the bay, but it would be nice for up in the marshes.

on the boat motor part, im just saying E-Tec cuz i tend to favor evinrude/johnson i was looking around and found some yamahas 4-strokes for about the same price as the E-Tecs and a mercury max for less too Its just up in the air sort of right now alot of wishing on my part

round 2 goes to the boat again! Damnit! hopefully Mks pops can get it out, or i will be buying another part! (just wish my dad would by a new E-Tec <3) Has E-Tec Boner I would be in love to if we got a new motor. but i believe it may happen in a year or so :Hopes:

We didn't do any CNC plasma work on sheet metal with it, decided to go a different route.
