Bill, your best route is gonna be rt 95. Your going right past my town on your way, rte 95 will take me 6 minutes longer than following 395. The show is right off of rt 95 so it's a simpler way for me to get there....plus I'd have to get on the pike too, so there's a toll I won't have to pay. Either way, just be there, lol. See you all in the AM, we're shooting for about 9:30am. I have to be at work tonight at 9pm, and work til 7am, so I'll be haulin ass to be there by 9:30.

Actually, so far this was the 3rd time it rained, and forced a rain date. The Epping show took place a couple weeks after the original date, the Boomer Nashua show hasn't been able to find a location to hold their last show, but we're still waiting to hear the final word on that one. The Jammin show will most likely happen Sunday regardless. So it could be worse. The weather this season has been a lot worse than previous years, seems like winter is coming a lot faster than usual too. Wonder how cold it's gonna be at our final show, that ones on Oct 24 and it's a night show.

I think anyone thats attending is already on their way there. Only 1 or two are going from the Northeast that I know of. Just too damned far for most people to drive.

I guess it depends on where you look for the weather, one place says rain, another says cloudy. It's way too early to even think about what Jammin might or might not do. They wont tell me til Sunday morning.

The rain date is next Sunday. Or even October 11th, we'll be in Chicopee Mass that day.

Yeah, kinda sux, was hoping to meet you. On the other hand, we are going to be using a generator and we use a 32" plasma screen tv as a monitor so the rain isn't something we want to be running a show in. Water and power don't work well together.

I tried calling the station, but there's no answer. So I can only assume like the rest of you that it's still on. The people actually in charge of the show have my number and said they'd call if it gets postponed. I'll let people know if I hear anything, otherwise I'll see you all there. Marcus, I really doubt they'll have a problem with people showing up a little late. If they say anything at the gate tell them your only doing SPL so you don't need to be judged with the car show. Try not to show up at 3 though, try and keep it before 2 pm if possible. My guestimate on the car show is that they've got at least 50 cars not coming out cause of the rain, and thats just the ones I talk to. So they won't take long to judge the car show.

thats not bad, we have guys coming down from Maine to spectate, they're driving about 4-5 hours each way. Some guys are booking hotel rooms for tonight too.

He posted on the other forum that it's more of a demo truck, not an SPL vehicle.

I'll be there, Oh wait, I'm running it so of course I'll be there, lol. There's actually a thread on here of NESPL shows and it's been posted in there. That would be cool if you were to make it to the show.

Yeah I have no idea how bad it is out there, Springfield is all ghetto from what I've heard, not the place I'd want to move my family to, not as bad as Murderpan or Dorchester but not great either way. The Chicopee show is being held at Porter & Chester Institute, it's a decent location from what I've been told. If you hit the Waterford CT show you can hit the Olive Garden for dinner afterwards, they have some great food. The Jammin show is at the Crystal Mall and the location is pretty nice, we ran it for them last year too.

The Epping show this past weekend got over before 10pm. Might be a little after 10 the next time if the car show portion gets bigger. The CT show should be over by 5pm, so you'll have plenty of time to get home from that one if time is an issue.

Yeah right, lol. I called a couple dozen shops all over the area a few years ago looking for one and almost all of them had no idea what one was, the ones that did know had sold theirs. I haven't heard anyone even mention one in years.

Well there's always the Chicopee show on October 11th, or the final night show in Epping NH on the 24th.

Next weekend is the Jammin 107.7 show, Registration begins at 9am, show runs from 11-4 depending on the turnout.

Ha, I was just happy not to blow off a dustcap again. A 149.3 was a pretty decent number for a pair of 10's. We'll have to see what Mike Houde does in CT with his Stock 1 set up. I heard that he did a 149 in Db Drags Street Stock class this weekend out at the NY Drags 3X. Street Stock is like the Amateur class, cause it's on music only, not tones or sweeps.

Still waiting to hear from Boomers on the rain date for the show. Only a couple days till the next Aftershock show, registration starts at 6pm, SPL should get going around 7pm.

Tonights show at Boomer McLouds in Nashua NH has been postponed due to the heavy rain and lack of parking. The National Guard has filled the parking lot with trucks and leaves us with no room except the wet grass, so Boomer has made the last minute decision to postpone the show. Keep checking the main website for a new date.

Since you'll have so many members next season maybe you guys should have everyone on the team chip in some cash and buy a Termlab so you guys can all have a meter to test with. It'll be worth it for the team.

They said it was for fun, cause it's not for points like a drags or USACi show. I'd like to be able to put the events name on each trophy, but it get's expensive when I have to get new tags made up for each show cause of the left overs. If I knew I could fill all the classes and hand out all the trophies then I'd do it more often.

I talked to them, they said the show is really just for fun, but you can use music or test tones. The classes are based on what they call RMS watts. I added their flyer to the Independent events page. I also changed out one of the pics on the main page.

Yup, these are rain or shine, as far as I've heard the rain is a possibility during the day, but the evening should be fine.
