  2. I was wangin my ssd the other day and it was wangin hard, loud just like fi should then i turned it off went inside and about 2 or so hours later i went back out there was about to leave and the sub or amp just didnt pound like it did before. It just wasnt as loud and didnt vibrate my whole car like it did before. I think it might be the amp, but im not quite sure. I figure it might be a connection problem or somethin, but i checked all that and no problems. Thanks Mike
  3. Yea i talked him into getting a bl. He heard my ssd and heard how loud it was even for a 10 and it convinced him.

It s in a 1988 Chevy s10 . Nothing special at all. its in a ported box. about 1 cube tuned to about 33hz. I have a Kole audio kx 1440 amp, but it doesn't want to power it all that well. Its shutting of when it gets a little hot. I'm probably going to buy a new one in the future, probably an RF amp

  11. Yea i just ordered an ssd with copper coils. I told him to wait til i get the sub, listen to it then decide PA or Fi. Ive heard a couple of PA stuff but it wasnt all that great. Ill keep tryin to talk him into some Fi's.
  12. I just ordered a 10"ssd with copper coils
  13. I have a friend who is wanting to buy a new sub he was looking at one of these. I told him to look at some Fi's but couldn't talk him into it.
  14. Hey if you haven't already bought the JLs ide look at some Fi subs.
  15. Personally Ive heard all of JLs subs and the only one i thought was worthy was w6. You probably wouldn't need much to power it. I had a w3 and only pushed about 300-400 watts to it. You would probably be ok with a little alpine amp or a RF. Nothing real big.
