I may steal that box, as I need one for the mustang. edit: I did the math, and those measurements put you at 3.64 gross, before any displacement, and im guessing you said 3.4 with driver installed in the box?

the MAX size box i can fit is 3.2 cubes before any displacement. i REALLY want a ported box but i dont know if i have room or not. if i go the 8's will they be loud? or will they just be like....keep up with the music loud? i figure the tens will of course be louder....correct? anyone care to hop on aim that has personaly play time with both?

not really worried with output, he likes his punk and his little pop rock bands so output isnt all toooooooo important. something with 100-150 for the subs would be nice, and i believe thats feasable on ebay with the two type r 10's possibly.

Hes not huge on SQ and not huge on SPL so SQ is fine, and not anything top of the line, just some pint size bump.

ya im gunna have 3.1 cubes total 16.5*9.5*36.5 is 3.31 minus sub volume it is 3.1. what should i tune to? 28 or 35? im thinkin something in the middle....around 30 doing an external port, with 3.1 cubes.....tuned to 30 hrz, does 12.2 inches sound correct? i did it on the carstereo calculator but i dont know if its 12.2 if ur volume is 3.1 before port displacement.

okay so i had a light bulb go off and had a stroke of genious. external port!!! mounting depth is 7.89 on the rl-p fifteen, if i give it 1.61 inches room between the magnet and back wall should i be safe? and is the mounting depth from the bottom of the mounting ring to bottom of magnet? if it is, in that case add .75 to 1.61 and have....2.36 inches of clearance! go me!

well......im doing things backwards and ordering the sub after all. although i dont know what im amp im gunna run but i guess ill figure it out. im thinkin going dual 2, but dual 4 would work as well because i can do one amp on either side of the sub......hmmm....mike disregard the dual 2 comment in the email, dual 4 is my need.

well to my dissapointment, im gunna have to pass for now on an RL-P as i dont have the money for an amp. im going to go with componants/amp combo and when i get money for the other stuff i will be ordering. this sucks, but any opinion on lower end diamond and mb quarts? im runnin a 2.5:2 octane r amp, so its like 80x2
