Yeah no problem, to be honest the only reason I know is because I emailed them asking the same thing =P

No I thought the same thing, it's something on their end, so no worries.

Your order # and when shipped
Hate to say this but it'll be a good bit more than a month for you bro, unless they kick it into overtime, my guess is 2+ months. I hope I'm wrong but based on your number there orders went from around 250 placed b/t the middle of January and middle of February to about 400 from mid Feb to mid March... Sorry captain... I know this waiting game blows) :

Night Hawk's order was actually #1061, not #1161, I apologize for that. Hope I didn't get any hopes up/-:

Your order # and when shipped
Okay so I'm pretty new to Fi, but maybe this can be stickied. I figure if everyone posts when there order ships out and what order number they had, the rest of us can get an idea of the amount of time we still have to wait. I may not tell us how many days but can tell us if it'll be a month or two. Just an idea here, so if you support it, post a reply with your info. So here's what I know so far: Order #1161 (night hawk) shipped out by Feb 28 according to his post I'm order #1193 still awaiting fulfillment. Placed the order Feb 16

Fi audio
My experience with them so far is very little. I have placed my first order with them on February 16 and I can say that I still haven't gotten my order and am not used to waiting for 'built to order' products. So I was expecting the 10-15 day estimate. HOWEVER, I can also say that I have emailed them a few times with questions and recently asking why it's taking so long and have gotten responses to all but one email which I resent and got an answer. Shawn has been handling my emails and has been very nice and courteous with his responses. Also seeing how busy they are shows they produce good quality products in my eyes. Even though my wait has exceeded my expectations I don't really have anything against Fi Audio at all, I just am not a waiting person =P I cannot speak of quality yet but you can bet I will when I get my loaded Q 12s in(:

Lead time right now
Damn that looks insane. Are those the subs you ordered 3 weeks prior to your first post? I ordered 2 Fi Q 12s Feb 16th and havent gotten a shipment notice yet... )-: just trying to see how much longer it will be... *sigh* ***Edit*** Oh lol just read your post above the pics =P let us know when they ship! We need to make a thread of when people order and when there order ships so people can get an idea of how long waits should be. I know It's tax time and quality takes time but im itching to hear them!

order process time
Just found out awaiting fulfillment just means it's still in the build process. Just got a response to my email. Shawn said they are very busy as it is the busiest to time of the year so I'm not so upset now, as I thought they've already Ben built and just sitting on a rack somewhere waiting to be packaged and shipped.... Still not super excited about waiting but I'm sure I will be more than happy as I have heard nothing but good things... 420 a sub they should do my laundry and wash my car =P

order process time
Lucky? /-: I'm about to blow my brains out from boredom, I've done everything with the new box from measuring re measuring and re measuring again and threw in the wiring, triple checked all connections, even got my jumper wires ready for the subs lol I'm going crazy! 6 business days to build the subs after ordering and have been awaiting fulfillment for14 days) : I don't get it, doesn't awaiting fulfillment just mean awaiting to be packaged and shipped? Shouldn't that be the fastest status?

order process time
Word, I ordered mine Feb 16th, order was completed Feb 25th and has been awaiting fulfillment ever since... I emailed them asking why it was taking so long as it said awaiting payment for like 5 days after payment was withdrawn then asked if "manual verification required" meant i needed to do something on my end, then asked why its taking so long on "awaiting fulfillment" but i guess this is normal... Or I may have just annoyed them lol, sucks being impatient I suppose =P Car's so boring with no boom in the back )-:

Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
15 for the height would give me 3.02 before bracing so that would put me about on target, correct?
-
Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
14.5 high 30in wide 16.5 deep those dimensions give me 2.9 cubes after woofer displacement, and before bracing. should i do corner bracing as well as the center brace from top to bottom?

Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
phew damn, $840 shipped fully loaded.... do the heat rings and internal leads make any difference?
-
Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
Oops I apologize Swift, must have missed that the first time going down the thread. Thank you for the dimensions and would having two face boards make much of a difference? or just sturdy up the box? and would they handle 4800 watts in the future (getting cooling, P Chamfer, high QTS) in this sealed box? Also, is there any other options that would be strongly recommended? will be ordering the subs tonight.

Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
Should I make the sealed box as close to max recommended, toward minimum recommended or in the middle?
-
Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
thats what im starting to think.... /= just sucks to have to choose high or low, as it could be a $750 mistake....

Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
the prefab box was like 1.1 cube per sub and that had to go asap. i built the current box and ill have to remeasure but according to torres box calc i had about 3.9 per chamber. the max dimensions are sliding through the trunk, allowing enough height to fire them to the rear (or front) as the angle the box slides in limits the depth and height and the trunk opening size limits the width as well. so would you all reccomend just dropping them in a sealed box as i would be able to get it to sealed box size and be able to fire them facing the back? I havent ordered them yet and the subs that sound muddy and sloppy are the RE SeX 12s. my current box takes up my entire trunk leaving me about an extra 15 inches for room to mount the amp rack. 2.2 cubes per chamber (if firing upward is the only option for this) will be very difficult, 2.5 cubes wont be possible. being as though the subs would have to be fired upward, would i get better output anyways with a sealed box as i would be able to fire them to the rear? will i be okay putting them in a sealed box with the low QTS option if the ported box doesnt work out? =/ this sucks.....

Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
The current box I have back there is about 36 wide, 26 in deep and 11 inches tall. So I have roughly 4 ft total after displacement, bracing and port. Ill try them in there, I would like a ported box and I know these subs ask for quite a bit (cubic ft/sub). I've heard nothing but good about these subs as far as sound quality. How much of a difference would it be to drop them in a sealed box vs the box I have? Volume and quality wise?

Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
Th malibus trunk is so small that the biggest box I can fit in through the trunk is about 30 in wide, 14.5 in tall and 17.5 deep. Made a big box that fits through my back seats but the height restriction is my only issue there. Even taking the back seats completely out I have hardly 12.5 in of clearance. Taking into considering the top and bottom sheets of Mdf, that's roughly 11 in for the drivers, heightwise, in the trunk... /-: And what's so bad about the skars? I've only heard good things about them and I can get the whole component set and 6x9s for about 150 shipped from a buddy of mine. And no I haven't heard them yet/-: any other suggestions for those as well (around that price range)

Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
Also want to be able to make them LOUD. Have the factory head unit and will be putting Ina skar component set and skar 6x9s to give me some wonderful midbass and great highs

Ported or sealed for 2 Q12s
