BGEs and other ceramic grills aren't very insulative; rather, they have a high amount of thermal mass.

The whole thing is ceramic, no lining.

Between the large thermal mass of the ceramic and the very tight seal between the lid & base there's very little tending.

I've always drank a minimum of three quarts a day for as long as I can remember. Morphine messed up my bowels the same way. Was way more spacy on the morphine drip than the hydro I was given after I was released.
