Rayon, nylon, fleece, wool, cotton, doesn't matter; it ain't the material's fault Cotton, Rayon, Fleece are all awful for that though. Cotton being the worst. Wool wicks the best, keeps you the driest and is the least fragrant BY FAR. What I'm trying to say is my sweat is toxic sludge. I am a walking bioweapon; the fact I haven't been sent to Gitmo yet astounds me.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Omron GoSmart. Unless you absolutely, positively need the bells & whistles.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Don't you live in Texas? Wth would you ever need a face mask for? I ONLY wear one up here under my helmet Needed something to cover my face with, natch It's not that it's "cold" or that it "feels cold", it's just that my skin does not care for the 10-20F wind chills. If I'm outside for an extended period I prefer to keep my skin covered, but the traditional poly/fleece hoodies & caps/beanies/balaclavas, cotton sweats, and nylon windbreakers are either too insulative, don't breath worth a damn, or absorb sweat. I wear one of these. Bomb diggity.http://www.klim.com/Motorcycle/Arctic-Balaclava.html Waaay too warm here for that- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
And still sucks compared to wool. Agreed. Not cold enough for wool, though.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I'm really amazed with the new polyester based sports clothing. Blocks the wind but is lightweight, breathable, and doesn't absorb sweat? Genius.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Picked up one of these thingies, because my fleece one is a royal PITA http://www.amazon.com/Under-Armour-UA-ColdGear%C2%AE-Hood/dp/B005CG1WPO/ref=pd_sim_a_5- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
