I eat turky hearts all day long. Gizzards are my favorite. I even like them tough and grisly. Reminds me of thanksgiving. Do you cook gizzards? I've never had a good one, but am ALWAYS open to anything that anyone likes.I love food, but textures sometimes not. Most of them are like rubber bullets. But the flavor is usually amazing. I don't know how you get them tender, but they have been that way by accident. They are like solid lumps of chicken soup to me. Always yummy and I just deal with the texture. I liked them as a kid and now they are comforting. I love the neck bone too in the same way. You got to boil the bejesus outta them and then fry em up like chicken

Worst meal I ever had was venison heart at a girl friends house in 7th grade. It was the driest most overcooked piece of meat that has ever touched my tongue. Too bad too as it set me back years from trying it again all due to a shitty cook. Yeah, heart is like tuna. Quick sear, a little seasoning, and you're done.
