Sounds kinda good, but I don't know if I could add anything to my bourbon. I like my bourbon on ice or with a splash of water. You certainly wouldn't want to use this with a high dollar boutique bourbon. Wild Turkey, George Dickel, Old Forester, Four Roses, Buffalo Trace and the like will do just fine. You can use Canadian in a pinch, but that mule kick of virgin oak that you get with bourbon is preferred.
