Picked up a Smokey Joe Silver at Wally World to supplement/replace the Brinkmann. Just assembled it and the materials alone feel more substantial; and it actually has dampers! Imagine that! Pulled a flat cut brisket outta the deep freeze and even it fits. Couldn't be happier.

Yeah I think we've all been there

Learned that lesson the hard way in high school. Now I always have a skull cap, safety glasses (preferably the foam sealed kind) and a face shield as a minimum when using grinders, plasma cutters or torches.
