I know the school district I grew up in didn't have computer labs until at least the mid 80's because I cut my teeth on Macintosh/Plus/SE/II systems. When I wasn't being broiled alive, sure. Wichita Falls, Childress and DFW seemed to get the brunt of the heat though, with afternoon highs ~110, compared to our 100-105.

And there's juuuuuuuust enough rum for a rum & coke...all in all a good day, with a great finish
