5.7L, I'm assuming that's the Gen I small block and not an LS1? Every truck with a Gen I (including a couple of 4.3 V6's) we've had, our relatives have had, or friends have had, all needed fuel pumps within 125,000 miles. Again this automotive, not marine, so dunno.
