I've been jamming the Orchestra since high school...never have dabbled in his other works though Personally I think that the Orchestra is his worst stuff, however, I understand the appeal. Have you followed along into Coryell, Chick Corea, or other similar work? Only a bit; I've only stuck my feet into the jazz end of the swimming pool (as opposed to cannon balling into the rock end of the pool)

Miles Davis and John McLaughlin come to mind. I prefer fusion more than a traditional jazz, though.
