  1. Droid >>>>>>>> TP2 Try using a Droid in Europe...oh that's right you CAN'T. Curious why it is so much better in your opinion though. It mostly comes down to OS: do you prefer Windows Mobile (Touch Pro 2) or Google Android (Droid)? You've already shown your disdain for RIM's BlackBerry OS, so the only other alternative besides the two previously mentioned OS's are devices that run on the Symbian platform (Nokia's, Sony Ericsson's, and a few Samsung models). (you can "hack" the software and makes the UI infinitely customizable on the Droid; I doubt that you care about that, however, since this is a business phone)
  2. AT&T still has better coverage in Texas, however EDIT: as in better voice coverage; verizon obviously has better 3G coverage
  3. it did require more than a couple of lawsuits, though
  4. a quick googling shows that they seem to have cut that shit out; good for them
  5. few years back Verizon started restricting and/or flat out blocked (depending on the handset) the use of Bluetooth and GPS in their devices, caused a big ole stink (they also used to install their own proprietary OS on all their phones to streamline tech support but I doubt that's still the case) haven't been keeping up to date so dunno if they still do that
  6. managed to snag some b-stock Karastan made with SmartStrand Sorona for ~2.55 a foot installed (including a premium pad)
  7. yes but does Verizon still cripple their phones?
  8. Sounds like you despise a poor speaker. It isn't the programs fault. I love me some powerpoint as it is so much easier to make a point with animations than to just statically have bullshit. Powerpoint should NOT be used for text. Quite on the contrary Sean. I more than enjoy a good speaker. But these people just read off the slides, add a tiny bit here and there and open for questions. They RARELY add in extra comments or anything of substance. Plus most of the topics they are 'teaching' are things I have gone over and even had the pleasure of teaching before myself. J Then they ARE NOT good speakers. So you despise a poor speaker. Not sure how that was contrary, sounds like you just stated exactly what I did. Except you blamed the powerpoint I blame the person giving it.
