I'm confounded by that logic. Lets make a different example (same physics). Go outside and fill a sled with wood and try to push the sled, what happen's? Now pull on the same sled, what happens? I think it has NOTHING to do with different muscles, Just the fact that the force is being applied in the most effective place. everything else aside the problem of torque in FWD drivetrains is enough to be problematic enough to be less reliable at high speed/heavy acceleration. It also affects acceleration greatly, when a car moved forward by nature it forces more stability to the rear of the vehicle. Suspension assists in this naturally. not to mention performance driving is a real bitch in a FWD car.

A history lesson for you, People learned about weight to power ratio is the reason cars are built without a frame. There are AWD and RWD cars that DON"T have a FRAME. Do I need to name a few? there are a ton of different racing classes, ALOT of race cars have the engine in the back over the drive tires, Others use a spoiler for down force. They also design the front of race cars to have ALOT of down force. I agree that an AWD car will handle best. most of those cars actually have the engine midmounted, in front of the axle and behind the driver

More than half the hand tools we have are Craftsman, the other are a hodgepodge of Stanley and no name generic imports (Stanley wrecking bars and hammers are some tough bastards, FYI)

Ewwww I'll always be a Craftsman guy, I have a toolbox FULL of Craftsman tools. I just needed some calipers from Harbor Freight, Sears doesn't carry any good set. 30 years ago Craftsman was good. Sears put them out of business took them over and ruined them. Don't get me wrong, I still buy them as the warranty is worthwhile considering it then becomes a lifelong tool even if it wasn't via its build quality. I love all hand tools with lifetime warranties; MAC, Matco, Crafstman, Cornwell, Kobalt, its all good power tools are a different matter air tools I don't know a damn thing about (anyone know good air tool brands?)

did find a pretty neat product; its basically really thick all in one vinyl flooring and (I'm assuming some sort of closed cell) foam product that comes on a roll don't think we're going to go with that in the den; might use it in the hallway though
