if you're worried about it you can get some pH test strips for a few bucks; I don't think it would register less than 5.5 (about the same as coffee) or so though (Soda is around 2.5-3 IIRC)

Why? CO2 doesn't degrade anything that I know of. Dissolving carbon dioxide gas into water produces slight levels of carbonic acid as a byproduct

There are places to camp that don't?? All state parks, pretty much. I want to go somewhere with some cool sites and allows beer. Seems you get one or the other....
