I don't get the connection there... the basic gist of it is: allegedly they're a consulting firm for dealerships; automobile, commercial truck, powersports, what have you they put an ad out for a "management trainee" position; I apply, they respond, we set up an interview interview goes over smoothly, he refers me to a Chevrolet dealership up the road; light bulb goes off in my head but I decide I'll let this play out just a little bit longer (if for no other reason than morbid curiosity) turns out the "job" being offered is a salesman position at this dealership; so I call the bastard back Me: "I'm a bit confused; this isn't the position I applied for" Him: "What position did you apply for?" Me: "I understood it to be a management trainee in your firm" Him: "Correct. How do I know you can manage people if you don't know how to sell a car?" Me: "Well I did just spend the last 5 years studying at one of the best business management schools in the southern United States, and pretty much any brain dead yokel can sell a car." some more jawing, I politely refuse his "job offer", drive home and pour myself a drink
