Why are you suppose to put the subsonic ~~3hz below? So if I have my box tuned to 32 and I set the filter to 29, wouldn't the amp not play below 29?The guys above me explained it. It's actually suppose to be set some specific way with equations or something but a few hz below tuning is a pretty good way to do it. Thanks for the info didnt know that

Yeah after hooking up the SQ I knew that there is no way the 1500m does 750 @ 2 ohm lol

I had the EV1500m, it sounds better probably because that amp doesn't do anywhere close to rated. I have fooled around with the gain and it does not help. I am sure it doesnt have to do with low voltage because it will turn off when im driving even if I had not turned the bass up. It doesnt even go into protect, it just turns off. I think its either because of a faulty amp or because the: grounds. If it restarts when you turn the car off and back on then its going into protect mode. Also are you using any bass boost? Plus like you said check all the wiring, even the speaker wires. No I dont use bassboost. Im gunna try redoing the ground cause I dont think it is touching a lot of bare metal. Have you done the Big 3? No not yet. I have been planning on ordering some wire to do it though.

The amp definitely puts out what it says. When I got mine in I had a shop install it. They told me that the amp did not work and I ended up purchasing another from their store. Months later I installed the amp myself to find out it actually works and sounds noticeably better. The only issue I am currently having is that the amp turns off after about 5mins when the car is running. And i just need to restart the car. Im sure the amp probably got messed up in shipping.

I know that, I haven't put in a HU yet considering my dash configuration makes it more difficult. I think its a double din thats why. But How much do you gain switching from AUX

I installed it yesterday and it feels like the air around you is being forced out of the car. The thing that still shocks me is the fact that its way louder than the 2 12's and its only on 750 rms. I cant imagine someone doing a trunk build with 2 of these on a 7.5k or 2 3500's.

After waiting a month and a half after placing my order I finally received my AA mayhem. I will be putting it on a soundqubed 750.1 because I dont plan on upgrading my electrical for a little while. I am currently running 2 aq sdc2.0 and they do slam for what they are. As for the box, It is in 2.5 cu tuned to 32hz with a 4" aeroport. Immediately I noticed the packaging is very well done, and I give huge props to SSA for that aspect. I will most likely give a review for the mayhem once I get my box. Anyways here are some pics

Hard to tell if its going to sound louder or better quality. What are you trying to accomplish? overall sq? lows? You would probably have a safer bet if you saved up a few more dollars and bought dual icons, you would probably notice a bigger difference.

Hey guys, I just ordered myself an AA mayhem 12" and I am currently waiting on it. In the meantime I have been looking for a box to put it in. I immediately went over to the Khaotic enclosures to see what they had for a ported single 12. At first I found exactly what I was looking for, A low tuned box, Nicely built, For a good price. However After taking more measurements, I realized that the box isn't going to fit in my 03 Mercury Sable. I went back onto the forums to see if I could find anything else. I came across the DC creations boxes and I filled out an inquiry to get a quote on a box. I still have not gotten a response over the past few days. I don't have the materials or equipment to build a box by myself, so I am dead-set on purchasing a box online. Any help is appreciated. I got confused because I thought they were in the building process when it says "awaiting fulfillment". So awaiting shipment just means they are building it?
