  1. and that is 90% of who is out there. I for one like the videos. They are like a science videos. I'm not impressed when someone's windows falls out, but there was the one where the ladies glass eye fell out. That was weird, and verry jerry springer. The videos to me sometimes remind me of skateboarding videos where someone gets hurt, or the Wii damage videos. Those are high quality YouTube also.
  2. half educated people are usualy the most dangerous.
  3. lol I laughed hard enough my co worker came around the cube from that. I wasn't ready for humor this morning. I'm in a better mood now. thanks hop!
  4. sweet. Although it would look at home on my expedition... or number one
  5. Man same thing happens with amplifiers in home audio. people think that the heavier it is, the more quality it is. "wow grandma what big slugs you have!" "Teh better to wang with my sweetie" People get association issues and shiz.
  6. lol That was a kick butt sales pitch , and I think it was from me as I said I wasn't sold on it. I will go back an reread what I have read on the web page and look through the forum here though, as it sounds like your car is doing some amazing work. I said I wasn't sold for a simple reason, here is why. I don't know them. I know pearless, I really know fostex. I know every other brand mentioned, and they cost less than what "appears" to be similar performance from the hybrid. Again I can't tell about the actual sound. I would love for my truck to sound as ideal as your car, but, if I can get 98% of that and pay a half ton less.... well. Competition is another thing. I honestly beleive they are probably amazing drivers, but being online and looking, the cost is up there too.
  7. good morning everyone!
  8. "in anchor man voice" I'll punch you right in the baby maker.
  9. in your opinion which will give the best quality to imaging and responce and use the smallest enclosure size possible, or rather with these mids will any need to be ported? I can only imagine the migraine that will cause. I guess, if you were in my shoes, what mid and tweet would you pair up with the SLS. The budwalla set up looks super fancy, i'm just not sold on it though.
  10. with the pearless and fostex are you thinking go without the tweet?? I like the seas the most but how large of an enclosure would it need to be in there? That plus a tweet would get crowded.
  11. Only change is I want to keep the budget lower as I will need a new amp and I am trying to save a bit of cash for other toys too atm. But, there is the info for the most part. I'm pretty happy to go 3 way. =)
  12. I want a huge deliscious hamburger for dinner.
  13. huh? Sorry, just venting about a design of this building I am working on. Don't mind me. I thought maybe you had some builder had put the wrong counter top in your home or some such! =)
  14. if we go 3 way, going with a 4 inch would limit the tweeter space a bit. That would be the only consideration I would have but there is tons of room when you get down there and look. I noticed I said if we go 3 way.... I think I've become codependant on the forum and it's help lol
  15. huh?
  16. LOl I would think you had my truck memorised by now. 98 EB expedition. I have room in the kicks etc. I put all the info in the first post on this thread, as the other thread got too long. You had recomended I go 3 way with the prs 880 using the amplifies low pass, and the band pass from the 880 acting as a high pass.
  17. Stick a fork in it them because that subject is done! Save me some bucks too for the stuff that matters and maybe get some more toys like a better batt and maybe an alt. sweet. I'm getting excited. What would you match to those? Not that it would be that much, but I would rather buy all at once especialy if I buy it all from Madi
  18. I'm just installed a new battery in my nano... but... I don't have a soldering iron! My roomie does, he just has to find it though.
  19. zoinks! that's great stuff!
  20. FISHING TOP FTMFW!
  21. Bass is the most fun to fish from my experience. Verry rewarding, and I never thought about going on fishing and then bikini patrol! I always did one of the other. North woods experience, or miami in MN, never thought of getting a 2 for one!
  22. Sweet. I really think for the price the SLS is the winner. The morell though sexi looking and has a 3" fancy pants coil (WTF?) and it's small depth has really good sensitivity it's still 3 times the cost. Think the SQ would be there for the cost?
  23. that SLS is actualy a bit deeper than the seas by my math??<----I must have been drunk when reading depths. : edit : But it could save a ton of cash. If the SLS will do the best job I supose I can find a way if nothing else pull the woofer out further. Would tilting the woofer a bit cause any issues, then I could could swing it.
  24. I forgot how rough tonka is. I never go on that lake. It's a blast for socialising, but so busy and popular I've never just "relaxed" on it. I like smaller lakes, and if I'm fishing to eat, Bluegill/panfish/sunnies are more my style. Lake silvia is a GREAT one where my gramps had a cabin. It was nice and quiet. Gull lake in breezy MN isn't too bad either in the fall, but I always end up catching northern/muskie.
  25. honestly, I could almost fit a 12". Truthfully smaller would be better, but it's really a non issue. 10" woudl be fine, but I think a wonderfull 8" would best fit the bill, save some weight on the door, and may have less moving mass.
