personaly if I drink, I like wine, really high alchohol content beer/stout/lager etc or a simple mixed drink ie gimlet vodka gimlet gin and tonic, vodka and tonic, or thew classic rum and coke. I exclusively use sailor jerry for dark rum, and only ise clear rum in mojitos, mmmm sounds good right now.

I am allll for that. it just cuts into the budget a bit more. How much of a PITA do you think it will be to tune the midbass without having the direct 880 control? The more I read the idea the better I am with it, it's just intimidating when talking about not being plug and play.

I agree. I'm swimming a bit but I think I can figure it out. I love to learn. I'll try what someone in the know would do, and if I don't like it or hate it..... well.. i learned my lesson.

I will measure. I'm fairly sure I can put almost all of it in the door though. If not Kicks maybe the only way.... How would you xover the tweet and mid? passive? Also do you think the 880 will be good enough to process that kind of a difference? I would think it would have to xover really low for the midbass to split from the mid wouldn't it? I'll try anything, it just sounds massively complex.

Gee, you posted my thoughts before I did. Exactly my reasoning. GMTA You would have said something but I have to ask, with the temp extremes here and humidity have you had and experience of failure. My roof is a big concern it's terrible and needs some desperate attention. No issue at all, I didn't even pre-clean the metal that is what I like to hear! RAAM it is!

doors can fit nearly anything if I build it. There is enough storage room for half a phone book in he door well as is. I have another 3-4 inches.. conservatively from where my leg naturaly rests

Welcome to the IHoP
... well.. it depends on the space and application. For my HT room 120-175 is about right I would guess when I design that. Living room eh... 40-60 ish.. Bedroom is more of a 30-40 type place. Kitchen... well, gotta get into the 15-20's. I can barely justify one TV, never mind that many hehe. sounds like something from stuff white people like. My dream and I will make it come true, is to have media in every room of my dream house, 99% music though. I'm working on building a server/game machine now to serve music. I just need to find a house and then DIY stereo in every room.

I don't have so much room in the kicks I have size 13's and wear boots... you know how MN can be! It could be done with some work I'm sure, but I would like this truck to be usable too. Taking up the kicks would be tough and I would have to make th speaker placement very high from the floor of the truck. The doors open up so much room it could be hell.

another point... I'm really not that interested building an very specific enclosure for the mid/mid bass. I think that would cause me a huge PITA. I am very sure that the mid and mid bass will have to go into the door.
