I love my AR-10. It's a DPMS. It has issues with damaging cases however. The AR is such a beloved platform as you can make whatever you want! Light short battle rifle options (SBR) or heavy longer barrels with sniper stocks for shooting bug holes or way the Fuck out there. I recommend grabbing a brownells catalog for the AR platform and then doing as much webernet research as you can.

I'm sure it's incredibly under rated and could be unlocked with a tune. It's all about MPG to them however. Can't blame Benz for doing what the US government is basically pushing on all car manufacturers.
