  1. That will do.I figured. They recommend the other for iron diesels that get so hot. I just always used nickel because it was what I purchased or got free 3 and a half billion years ago. I have had more cars than sparkplugs so the old jar is a lifetime supply.
  2. What the fuck. No one sells the nickle antiseize. I got cheepo silver because copper next to aluminum makes me skurred.
  3. Awesome!
  4. The F150 5.4 I did had a 2 piece plug from the factory. Here is what my fil had in his http://www.summitracing.com/parts/acf-sp515/overview/make/ford/model/f-150 Those are for the 3 valve head. The truck you did was 2004 or newer correct? Matt has 2 valve heads.Hell even the 3 valve heads are the same. You can interchange them all actually. That's what the modular engine design was all about. Curious, are the intake manifolds interchangeable as well, or are they head specific? They are specific to the heads, but the 2 Valve head had two different designs and you can interchange them, although they do not match 100%. The gaskets make up for it though. Also, each engine size will be a specific intake. The 5.4 has an increased stroke and deck height, so it takes a different manifold. There are companies that make adapters though to fit the 4.6 intakes on 5.4s.That might be one (of many, I'm sure) reason I haven't seen any TVS supercharger kits being offered for 2v/4v motors. Kenny bell used to make a 2 valve SC kit. My wife was going to get it for my birthday..I mean she was going to let me buy it for my own birthday. They stopped making it. I was super sad about that. It would have been soooooo amazing.
  5. I do need one. Just been too cheap. Link away rather pay for the right one when the time comes.
  6. Faceboom is troble. Even when you are right, the dumbasses will bring you down.
  7. It took a lot less on the 5.4 last time I did the COPs. Never did the spark plugs
  8. From what I have seen, I agree. I just didn't know if I needed special rules for the spark plugs. Special grease or what ever.
  9. you are NOT going to have fun. you have to pull the fuel rails and everything to get to the plugs. i would HIGHLY suggest you put new coil packs in at the same time so you only uave to do it once.I have coil over plugs aka COPs. That is what I am replacing. And when I replaced one I pulled the sparkplug for giggles and it had some build up. So I thought since spark plugs are cheep, might as well. As for the fuel rail, I didn't have to to get them off, but it was a shit load easier to just do it. Not a big deal though.
  10. LoL TY hommie
  11. I have decided it might be a good idea to replace the sparkplugs in the truck since I am doint the COPs. Maybe I asked but is there any brand or anything I should get. 5.4 2v in a 97 expy. Is there something online I should get or is local ok? Also anytthing I should know when putting them in? Dielectric rubbed on the plugs correct? Do they NEED to be torqued or can I just twist them in solid but not ultra tight?
  12. Usual batch is 4 gallons of rich broth... maybe a bit more. Not sure how many quarts come out of my big pot actually. Works like a friggen charm though. I use my pasta pot and it strains out all the bones and veg. Barely any clean up needed if I wanted to take out all sediment. I don't though and if I'm making something that needs it cleaned I do that when I use it. Makes better soup if I leav it in.
  13. This will get frozen. I sometimes can it, but I have gotten lazy. I like the simmer the soup down until it's really strong. Then I can dilute it as needed.
  14. I made a few gallons of broth and am simmering it down now. I intended to make some good chicken soup with noodles but I want saltier than just basic chicken soup would give me. So I made Asian inspired soup. Cut up some chicken from the 2 roasters I made and put them in bowls. Then for noodles I decided soba would be frikkin perfect. Boiled them and washed the extra starch off and portioned them out. Added soy, mirin, and oyster sauce. Holy fuck. Wow is this fantastic.
  15. Yeah!!..especially the ones on the honey moon.
  16. Sounds like a monster flu!
  17. Congrats dude! This IS good news. I am amped. Thanks.
  18. I did none of my honey do list and I sat around doing nothing today, and the wife came home and made me pie. She must be happy I got a job.
  19. I got $2 yesterday. Told my boss I was sick of the BS and he asked me if $2 more per hour would make me feel better. I could use an extra $180 every 2 weeks if you find you don't need it. :-)
  20. Shipping is the worst on these things. I will fucking whore one to you though. I don't kmow the clearance structure yet but I will learn it and hook anyone up. In general if you aren't getting about 40% off the deal isn't that great. Some have no wiggle room but on the major brands and their best beds about 30-40% off, minimum is what is ok. If you wate for a sale they will scrape to 50%. Lower than 50% and something is up.
  21. I was referencing your noodle. I actually like chopsticks for almost all meals. If I cut my steak before serving will grab a pair of chopsticks sometimes. I will have to try salad. Down side is my wife got some plastic sticks and they don't grip anything. They are a clear plastic and even though they have texture at the end, it doesn't work so well.
  22. I kind of want a sub sammich now. Boiling the bones for broth today and its killing me. I want to eat.
  23. I fuxored you Oh, how so? You love my wet slippery noodles. I give it to you once and you can't get enoughIts the deep salty and umami flavor. Better than crack. Hard to lift with chopsticks until skilled though.
  24. double Double thanks! It feels good.
