The bushing on the guide for the 1911 was decimated. I bet that was the cause for the hang up. Glad I had a spare! Need to buy a pack of them.

I love my gallaxy tab. I think samsung has it down so far... and that is too bad, as I was soooo excited for the asus transformer. Mk can go over some of the issues he has had.... not sure if they are sorted. The 10" is great if you want to surf, but it is the EXACT wrong size for typing. Too big for thumbs, too small for home row style typing. For movies it is really nice to have that size. And it helps when working emails or lists.

And I REALLY need padding for shooting the benilli. Even "low recoil" was a killer. Girls only shot 2 rounds.

I was really shaky today. But I managed to calm down and put 15 rounds of .45 auto through the red at about 16-18 feet. If I had not felt like such shit I think I could have pushed it back further. The wife wore a super short skirt, but combat boots so she could plant her feet. Every gun in the place simultaneously got turned on and real scared when she deftly put 19 rounds of deafeningly loud 308 through the chest of a zombie target.

Epic. I smell like gun powder.... and a guy from a mil branch gave me a suggestion on how to fix my AR-10 issues. He said the aluminum magazines had a lot of problems with double feeding and when they all switched to pmags it cured the issues. 308 is not 223 but 20 bucks for a much better magazine is money well spent and if it fixes it, awesome.

R2, my 1911 is acting a fool. After a round the slide hangs up for a half second as if the magazine is empty. If I wait a second or 2 or if I just touch the slide, it will slip forward...... the rounds are not jamming or anything either. Can you think of anything that might cause this? I am going to super clean it and then oil it and see if I can replicate it but ading lube here at the range didnt solve it. Though it went from failure every round to every other, it sill strikes me as odd behavior.
