Welcome to the IHoP
$10 says that it's the igniter. Only saying that because I remember you saying that you did some sheet rock work lately. If so, unless you were REALLY diligent in getting up all the dust it has the nasty tendency to take out the igniter. If it ain't red, it ain't workin'. If so, yank it and run to dey appliance and grab a new one for $40. I will double check the igniter anyway. Good call brochacho. It did start up when I jighled these magic wires. But it could be dirty as a muh fukker anywhoosle.

Welcome to the IHoP
Check the flame sensor. That is the number one issue when starting a furnace after summer. Cobwebs collect on it and it won't ignite. A simple clean and you're good to go. Save yourself $100 service call. Ryan maybe you can help. I have free service calls, but it is still a hassle. So whe we moved in I did as you say and cleaned it all out. Moved/set up the sensor etc etc. Nothing worked. What did work is this box with 4 wires leading into it needed to be shook/jiggled. Then it will start. That worked for a while but then it needed to be touched everytime the furnace needed to come on. So I called a guy. He came out and replaced the box. All was well fod last year. Same thing this time. I go down and just touch the box/ wires connecting and it worked perfectly. WTF is up with that?

help me choose once again
John, I would just change all of it to the same burl. For your goals it seems to make the most sense. I personally hate the black/grey/charcoal stained woods. Eventually you might want to even veneer the box. It would be nice if every little detail matched. If it were me I would go with a less red burl over e'rething.

Welcome to the IHoP
If I make the wookie call to him he is sooooooooo excited. Almost as much as over his squeeky ball, or food time. Not as much as the magic words car ride though. He will tear down my house if I say car ride and am not ready to leave.
