Sean your problems sound like the exact same thing I fought with at my last company. Just different metrics. Same equation though. There is some blood in the water. It smells wrong. Them pressing you isn't an accident or because they are just retarded. I mean, they ARE RETARDED, but there is some other unknown that is working against you. I told my boss precisely how he can fuck himself and how hard to optimize his discomfort then how much better at his job I would be. So I know why I got the screw put to me.
